if anyone knows the guesstimate amount of time it takes to get embassy interview in montreal after CC from NVC on 12//31/2015 ? PLEASE !

But I'm not sure about IR5.

IR5 is about the same as IR1ish... about a month or two after your CC you should get an interview date through the NVC.

That interview is generally 2-6 weeks beyond when they contact you.

my interview date was cancelled till i provide them with scanned copy of Notice of Decision letter from immigration canada ,i have sent the scanned copy the same day ,does anyone know if they will reinstate my current interview date ? or what does this mean ? please help

Chances are you will need a new date. I doubt they will reinstate the original date if they cancelled it. Chances are someone has already taken it. Is your case at the embassy? Or still at the NVC? If it's at the NVC, you could try calling them. If it's at the embassy, you may need to email them. I'm not sure if you would be able to schedule one yourself on the visa info page.

my case is at embassy already ,my date has been set and issued ,they have all docs ,but they want the Notice of Decision letter from canada immigration

Sorry, I'm confused. In the earlier post you mentioned the interview was cancelled. On the communication you received where they said they wanted the notice of decision, what did it say the next steps were?

they told me to send the scanned copy for review once they recieve it ,i may or may not get the same appointment if any .i sent the copy the same day as i received the email from embassy

Okay. What date was that one (that you scanned the document for them)?

You could try calling the NVC and see if they show a new/different date for your interview. Otherwise you could try emailing the embassy.
