Same exact thing...our status changed once as well but it just says ready. When I call the number they said it's under routine AP and they told me to contact the embassy if I want more info.

Hi. Any update for you guys? ours turned to Non immigrant and case date changed. What about you?

My situation might be little different some of yours. She was interviewed on November 23 and was approved on the spot. However, she asked her visa to be issued in January to intentionally delay the process.

Since January, her status date seems to change couple of times a week but status remains "Ready".

Just wondering what the purpose of your asking for a delay until this month was. The validity of the visa will be for 6 months after her medical-so if she had her medical in November, her visa can only be issued to be valid until April.

She took her medical exam in December. I checked the NVC website and it states that the visa is valid from the date of issuance. Do you know where you found out that the visa is valid for 6 months from the medical exam.

Thanks in advance for your assistance

Hi bro, Any update on your case?

I had my interview at Islamabad embassy yesterday. The CO told me everything is fine and they need further processing.

Did the CO tell you how my time they would take? In my case he told 3 to 4 weeks but it has been 6 weeks now and still case is in ready status.

CO also told me 3 to 4 weeks but I think what they say is irrelevant. I have seen people who were approved at the interview but didn't get their visa for a month or even a few month and some got it in a couple weeks when they were given 4 weeks with 221g. I would guess it all depends on what kind of Admin processing your case is going through.

My status update hasn't changed since my interview day. Still say Admin processing and show the interview date.

I think it also depends on how much work they have on their hands and how complicated your case is. EVERY case is different. No two cases are the same. I hope everyone with a true loving relationship gets approved. All we are doing is to get together with our loved ones...

True. The frustrating thing is not knowing when it will be over. USCIS and NVC had predictable timelines and we knew around what time we will move on to the next step. Over here the wait time range from days to years.

I hope we all get to be with our loved ones soon and put an end to this waiting game.
