Hi Friends. I had my K1 visa interview 10 days ago. The CO said everything looks good and kept my passport and said he will let us know in 3 - 4 weeks. When I check my status on CEAC website, it says "Ready" for Immigrant visa (ISLxxxxxxxx) and "No Status" for non immigrant visa (AAxxxxxxxx). What does this mean. They updated the date on the immgrant visa status but its still ready. What does this mean?

Immigrant visa says:

U.S. Department of State
IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION
Ready
Immigrant Visa Case Number: ISLxxxxxxxx 01 ISL Case Creation Date: 29-Oct-2015 Status Updated Date: 04-Jan-2016
Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://nvc.state.gov/interview

For more information, please visit TRAVEL.STATE.GOV.

But the nonimmigrant visa status says:

U.S. Department of State
NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION
No Status
Application ID or Case Number: AAxxxxxxx Case Creation Date: 26-Nov-2015
Please contact the U.S. Consular office you believe is responsible for processing your visa application.

For more information, please visit U.S. Embassy Islamabad.

My fiance had his K1 interview on December 16. He was told that he was approved and that he would receive his passport and visa in 10 business days. He still hasn't received anything and his case says Administrative Processing. As others have said, just be patient. Congratulations!

Congrats to you too! I think it has something to do with holiday season. Yours will go to ready status soon and then you will get visa. Mine has never gone to administrative processing and I dont know whats going on.
