Hillary Indicted? How would this change the Democrat side?

I wonder what would happen to the election cycle if this happens? Will it cause more support to the HRC side? Will the gaffmaster enter the race? Does Bernie get the support and end up like McGovern? Of course time will tell, and this is only the opinion of a former federal prosecutor, but he should be somewhat knowledgable. In my opinion, they will have to prosecute her for violating the espionage act, if not,they can expect anyone else accused to invoke the Hillary defense.

I doubt she will get indicted, as much as I would like it.

Politics are so divisive that some of the low brows will get in her corner even more and accuse of a right-wing conspiracy. Honestly, it wouldn't even crush her support. Her numbers would drop but in a sane world they should drop to 0% in such a scenario and they wouldn't.

It would certainly help out bernie, but God help us if he ever becomes POTUS.

I think it an unfortunate slip of the tongue; basically improper use of the word, like saying sorry when somebody dies and you had no role in it. While he says he "regrets" it he says it was still the best thing for his family, and strictly speaking those two statements are in contradiction. I still think he could have wiped the floor with Hillary and had an excellent chance of winning.

I don't think so. But, a conviction would prevent her from qualifying for the presidency, by law, I recall reading.

I think the only thing that would prevent her from being a candidate would be if she was actually found guilty, an indictment alone would not be enough. Nor do I think an indictment would hurt her standing enough to lose the dem nomination.

That seems to be the big question, if she is not indicted, how would that impact future prosecution of a non-Royal accused of a similar issue. If she is indicted, the mainstream media will not be able to ignore it,but worst case scenario is she is indicted, wins, then is convicted, we would then be stuck with whatever ####### she chooses as a veep. Personally, I think Obama,as much as he supposedly despises her,would not allow the AG to indict.

On another note, why do we not hear questions regarding her or Bernie's age or health? Are only republicans subject to old age ailments (al la Reagan,or McCain)? Both HRC and Bernie are older than Reagan and I remember hearing of a lot of questions regarding his potential health.
