Hello, can someone please update my info, my NOA date was 1/08/2016 which I received today. Thank you and good luck to us all.

Hello Ambataa! Wish I know to update your timeline so i can put the date of your Noa1. I am at VSC too and still waiting for Noa1. Hope other members can update your timeline.

This new I 751 form doesn't even ask if you have children or no, just states to list them all etc. It doesn't make sense really, what about us who don't have any children we suppose to write NONE and N/A on three or so pages. It would be a lot of NONE's and N/A's in my case. Do you guys suggest leave these empty or ?

I don't understand why they have to complicate things.

Hi guys we sent out our application on the 14th January and USPS said it was delivered on 18th. I think we wrote a check for $505 instead of $590. My wife's conditional Greencard will expire on the 28th. We haven't gotten any notice yet. We don't know what to do next. Any suggestions please help.

How can you be not sure of what amount you wrote? Can you check your bank account online and see if anything has been cashed?

Came home yesterday and found our application on our mailbox. They sent it back indicating that the $505 was incorrect. So i will be sending it back with the correct amt of $590.

Came home yesterday and found our application on our mailbox. They sent it back indicating that the $505 was incorrect. So i will be sending it back with the correct amt of $590.

Ouch! Well, mistakes happen, and you are still within the period to file, just triple-check everything and make sure everything that has to be signed is signed and everything that has to be marked is marked, I overnighted mine on jan21 with UPS, not the cheapest option ($80 to get it to VSC by 9:30 AM) but worth the peace of mind.

The following was the table of contents that I wrote on the cover letter in case it helps you:

  1. Check for $590, payable to U.S. Dept of Homeland Security

  2. Form I-751

  3. Copies of my Permanent Resident Card, USC's Passport and Marriage Certificate.

  4. Joint lease agreement as evidence of living together.

  5. Joint Federal Tax Returns for 2013 and 2014 as evidence of financial co-mingling.

  6. Life insurance policies showing each other as beneficiaries.

  7. Health insurance through USC's job showing me as dependant.

  8. Joint bank account statements and IRA statement as beneficiary.

  9. Bank account statements showing withdrawals from joint account.

  10. Several joint credit card statements.

  11. Several phone bills dated back to 2013 and showing our current phone numbers.

  12. YMCA family membership.

  13. My driver permit renewed Nov 2015 showing shared address.

  14. My FAA medical certificate showing shared address.

  15. Some pictures of us, friends and Cat (that’s his name) in green holder.
