What is wrong with Vermont Service Center!!!???... Why the system snails on like that, did we check that they are real people working there?... Some other centers are delivering, but VSC, one would think that he sent his documents to the grave!

I did a request last Saturday and expect a reply by March 12, 2017.

we got a letter in the mail on friday that the case was approved.  the website says it is still  under review, that website seems to be behind.  just waiting for the card in the mail now.

Hi All at VJ, 

 

CSC received our i-751 package 2/16/2017. We wonder how long before we should expect to receive the NOA. We had already booked travel for March 17 before I knew it might be a little close for my wife. She will be there for two months so I guess I could always Fed-Ex the original, last time I did that during I-129F it was not cheap. Any recent timelines would be appreciated. 

 

I know there no guarantee they will accept it first time and that's OK. We did out best and put in quite a bit of info. Thanks VJ, I appreciate VJ for all the help!

i have been noticing a lot of people never getting an update and actually getting approved without the status ever changing.

USCIS corrected the processing date today. It's still DEC.14, 2015 for VSC! TOO SLOW!

Actually, it's December 28th, 2015, but that's as of December 31st, 2015. I am guessing this means that there are no more December cases left.

When I checked, it was Dec. 14, 2015? Lol Did I see it wrong? However, I still didn't get anything yet.

I'm worried sometimes because I'm a divorce waiver. Hopefully my approval letter could surprise me soon enough.

Well, there are a few things you can do since you're officially outside of normal processing time. 

You can:

 

- Schedule an InfoPass appointment

- Contact your local congressman

- As a last resort, you can reach out to The CIS Ombudsman

Quick update, we mailed the I-751 on the 14th, recvd on the 16th and NOA mailed back to us on the 17th. Received the  NOA today the 21st. I know this is the easy part !

Hi! I see you've gotten the NOA so you're good in that respect, but just wanted to suggest as well that you have someone check your mail while you're traveling to be looking for the biometrics appointment notice. That generally follows within about a month of the NOA. Our NOA arrived on 01/04/16, the biometrics was scheduled for 02/01/16. I remember there being not much notice either between the receipt of the biometrics letter and the date of the appointment. Good luck and enjoy the trip!

Hi, thank you for the good info!. So really, get this, my wife is leaving March 17 for 8 weeks and won't be back until May 13th! I think I will have to make a call to them and ask to have it pushed out a bit. Thanks for helpful comments, that is the very next thing we were thinking about.
