update: my wife went to the local uscis office and got the 551 stamp. the officer said they are aware of the backlog and getting a lot of people coming to get the stamp. the officer also said as an FYI to be prepared for request for additional information as they are doing quite a few of those.

of note: if you go, leave plenty of time to get to the office. My wife was late due to a accident on the highway, but they still took her despite being 30 mins late

Question: I used certified mail with return receipt service and I've received the return receipt already. Am I supposed to receive anything from USCIS saying that they already got my RFE docs?

You are more likely a Feb filer since your NOA date is in Feb. I can put you on the list if you want.

My ROC was received by Vermont on the 25th of January 2016 and got the biometrics a few days later.

To my surprise, I just received a notice of approval dated at the 19th (less than 11 months to be processed!!). Visajourney was a great and reliable resource in this long and painful process and I thank you guys for the support. I hope that all of you January filers get approved as fast as possible!

Also, does anyone know what happens if your I-751 application has not been processed and your one-year extension expires?  My husband's extension will expire on February 2, 2017.  He is visiting family in Canada right now, and took the receipt letter with him showing the one-year extension.  But if he needs to travel after February 2nd and the green card renewal has not yet been processed, what does that mean?  The green card itself and the extension letter will both be expired.

Hey, your husband may consider to make an infor pass appointment through the uscis website and ask for the i551 stamp in your husband's passport during the appointment. Technically, the stamp will give him another year extension. It is pretty standard procedure and I believed a lot of people had done it before.

Hi! Can someone update the list to include our decision date ? Received approval to remove conditions on 12/23/2016. We were sitting at the Vermont service center for almost a year! Notice indicates we should get his GC in the mail within 60 days. Best of luck everyone!
