Hi! Im new here. Im from Mexico. i just want to thank you for all the guides and steps! I just got married yesterday and im trying to have all the documents in order (im the beneficiary) for AOS. Ok I had my medical examination in November in Cd Juarez, when I was there, I asked to check my vaccination records because I had almost ALL of them ( i was missing influenza shot thats it) and they didnt give it importance because it wasnt a requirement for visa k1 so they just gave me a sheet with "check" without any date. Ok after that i went to the hospital again ( i had gone before asking if i was missing any vaccinate, it was just influenza but they didnt have it in that time so...) I got influenza and megnococcical thats it. So now here i know i have to go with a civil surgeon for signing that sheet of vaccination, so my husband called one that is in the city and he is certified by USCIS, his assistant took the call and she started to ask questions about the dates of my vaccinates and it is fine but she asked about tuberculosis vaccinate (i had it in 1989) she said i need one that has to be recent plus she asked about varicella, mumps and rubella and i have history of them i already had them when i was a child so she said if i had a proof, why should i lie about it, reallyyy? I had my measles vaccinate in 2009 and i had a prevention program for this and tdpa all doctors said i didnt need a new shots until 2019...She said is a new form and new requirements but i researched about it and it says the same info you guys have here. What can i do? To find another civil surgeon? God... Seriously all the vaccinates are free in Mexico why shouldnt i take them in Mexico? It is fine if i have to take extra vaccinations but really this is very stressful for me most of the time i get secondary effects so...My husband works for the military, i thought about getting an appoinment with a doctor in his work so he can verify if i need something else according to the requirements of USCIS (i know he is not certified but at least maybe he can advice me and then going with a certified doctor ..) i will appreciate any advise. Thank you so much. Ps i dont know if i posted it correctly here

You can't do a K-1 if you are married. You'll have to do a CR-1

Or do I misunderstand and you have already entered on your K-1 visa and then got married?

And yes if you can't prove that you had them you'll have to do them again at least that's how it works with medical here

Here is the pinned thread for vaccinations,http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/551080-immunizations-ds-3025-or-i-693/, if you do not have a completed DS-3025 vaccination record you will need to seek a civil surgeon to file an I-693. If you have just a vaccine record you again will have to seek a civil surgeon to have them transposed on the I-693 and any vaccines you are missing.

You cannot just give your word that you had the vaccinations. You need to take a record of the vaccinations to a civil surgeon so they can transcribe them onto an I-693. You need to have MMR, Tdap/TD, varicella(or history of chickenpox-this they take your word for) and a flu shot because it is currently flu season. Those are the ones that are required.

You can always call around and find the civil surgeon you feel most comfortable going to.
