Questions in I-131 Advance Parole Application

Hi,

I will be sending my AOS papers soon and have two questions re: Advance Parole document.

1. I would like to use this document to visit my family in Canada weekly (on the weekend) and I guess I should answer “More than one trip” in question # 1, section 7, right?

Does Advance Parole have a limit in terms of number of entries to USA? I only live an hour south of Canada and plan to visit my family very often.

2. What is the longest I can stay out of USA with AP? Could I go away for 4 weeks before AOS?

3. What do I answer on question # 2, Part 3, “Expected Length of Trip”?

I plan to take “trips” not a single trip. Is AP valid only for one trip or multiple ones?

1. You can visit Canada as many times as you want, as long as you are not gone longer than 1 year (without obtaining a re-entry permit).

2. See above.

3. You can put "one day to few weeks" as answer for "Expected length of trip". AP is valid for multiple trips.
