I have a couple questions . First you send the most recent taxes correct so if i send off my documents in feburary and have taxes done by then i can send the taxes for 2015 ? Also i only have to send one year and other years are optional?

You are correct but if you send 2015, you must send W-2 , 1099s and last 6 months of pay stubs because it is to early for IRS to provide you a transcript.

If your income is border line to meet poverty levels, I suggest you send 2014 and 2013 transcripts.

I highly recommend you read very carefully the I-864 instructions and be very careful on selecting what form applies to you, there are several I-864s.

Read page 8 of:

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864instr.pdf

Keep in mind other help in the USCSIS site on I-864, for instance it must typed all in black ink and in CAPS.

Buena suerte.

I know i do i864 form I have already paid my iv fee and aos fee . I have also sent my i601a and waiting for approval . My mom will be my husband sponsor . She files taxes in January thats why I said we would have her taxes in time . Also last year taxes are different than this year cause she had dependents then and this year she dont . Last time she had my nephews but my sis got a job so she will be claiming her own kids . So my mom houshold went from 3 to just her .

I do not know her figures. Best thing search this and poverty guidelines so you can foresee if she qualifies as sponsor.

ok thank you

Look, are you sure your mother can sponsor him by herself? Or must be you the petitioner and your mother as join sponsor?

I have not read the rules for join sponsors because does not apply to my case.

If you know the answer for sure, please give me the URL to read on it.

Another thing: Please create a timeline so people can track and learn from your case. That is the whole idea here, share information.

I've got this section on the P4 Letter, I submitted original and the photocopy of the file to NVC and have been approved. (2012,2013 and 2014 tax file provided to nvc)

Do my husband have to take the recent tax file agian to the interview. unfortunately i didn't take a copy to myself. do I have to request for another tax record and send them again ?

In the 'requested file list' AOS is not available though.

What do you guys suggest?, is it better for my husband to carry at least a copy of the i-864?

"Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of
Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal
income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview."

Awaiting for experts responses :)
