Hi there, we have exactly time frame. My NOA2 is also Mar 18 so I better call tomorrow to see if they assign our case. Does any one who has NOA2 between Mar 14-18 have NVC case number yet???

I just called NVC about half hour ago and no luck. :( Will try again tomorrow night.

Yes it can be normal not to see your file in transit. It may not have left or maybe it has already arrived. The DHL tracking is not 100% accurate. China can be problematic as I have tried for others with little success.

Thank you very much! I was not able to get DHL tracking info anyway, however the case status suddenly became 'Ready' tonight. I wonder if NVC actually sent the packet electronically to China, instead of mailing the hardcopy?

My fiancé admitted to having smoked marijuana in the past during his medical exam. But only a couple of times and only where it is legal. Is this going to be a denial?? Where can we find this information??

He might need random drugtesting and a ban for 6 months - 1 year. ... Did the doctor not tell him?

He doesn't have anything in his system and the doctor didn't tell him anything.

Hmm usually the doctor in UK tells people maybe he was lucky. I would try and ask in the UK forum since many from there have had this problem :)

I heard of someone just getting 3 months here. Also if it was an issue at Knightsbridge they would say and he'd have to take a drugs test once a month for that time. I think because he did it somewhere it was legal they won't have an issue with it. It's only when it's illegally I think it's an issue, but I may be wrong about that. I am just guessing from what you've said.

My Evidence is finally received at CSC and thus the waiting for NOA2 begins all over again. Hopefully will hear soon.

@cailinelise The above isn't necessarily true, it is different case by case, if the drugs test was negative it is likely there will be no further repercussions, the bans apply to those who test positive and the term of the ban Is determined by the results. If you admit to taking drugs at any point ever it gives Knightsbridge the power to charge you the extra money for the drug test! ?

I would say the best option is to wait until you hear from Knightsbridge. The problem with asking questions this specific on the forum is that people will guess the answer and that's not going to help you. Speak to Knightsbridge they will put your mind at rest. Fingers crossed it will all be fine
