Did you try asking in the Hong Kong forum? I had some questions that were Russia specific regarding the interview process and I had a decent reponse from people that had been through the K-1 already. I also searched the timelines of my fiance's country and asked someone via private message for advice.

I have tried to private message a few and I am awaiting responses. I haven't found the Hong Kong forum, so I will go and see if I can find it.

Thanks

Hello everyone!

This is my first post on this forum so I am taking the opportunity to thank all of you for the great information I have been able to find so far! This has been really helpful!

I woke up this morning to some good news: I just received a notification e-mail for my NOA2!!

I have read that most of you call the NVC after 10 business days. However, are we all really supposed to call? Don't they provide our case number by sending us a mail or can't we check it on a specific website? Don't wanna be a pain in the neck for them.

Thanks a lot!

The only way you will have your case number is wait till they mail your NOA2 which sometimes takes 30-45 days. If you want it sooner then call but don't waste your time because your case won't arrive at NVC for 10 business days. Hence the reason everyone says wait 10 business days before calling. No website will have your case number.

Today was day 13 and nothing. Probably good to look more toward the 14 day or more for NVC case Id assignment.

Received Visa in hand this morning, three days after interview and approval. It has been said before, but it's true. After NOA2, everything moves as quickly as you want it to. My NOA2 was Feb 16th, and here we are, at the end.

I gave the NVC a call this morning, more for practice than expecting anything due to others still waiting, and my receipt number doesn't show up yet.

I then got the line that I should wait another week or 2 because it can take up to 35 days.

The lady was very pleasant though.
