First thing is wait 10 business days after getting your approval and the text mesg. before calling. Second, 35 days is a "pad" answer and is given to everyone, ignore it. Third call again tomorrow and the next day and the next day till you get your case number.

If you haven't received your noa2 notification or it hasn't been 10 bus days then wait.

It will go via NVC then to your Embassy. That's just a "pad" answer.

Are there any filers out there from the first week of January who haven't received either an NOA2 or RFE yet? Yes, I understand it takes many months in some cases. I'm interested in anyone who's filed for their I129-F between Jan 1-15 and are still waiting on any kind of notice after the NOA1. Thanks.

Hello everyone!

This is my first post on this forum so I am taking the opportunity to thank all of you for the great information I have been able to find so far! This has been really helpful!

I woke up this morning to some good news: I just received a notification e-mail for my NOA2!!

I have read that most of you call the NVC after 10 business days. However, are we all really supposed to call? Don't they provide our case number by sending us a mail or can't we check it on a specific website? Don't wanna be a pain in the neck for them.

I think because most of us were transfer to CSC so the process maybe a bit delay. It also depends on the background check so every case is different.

Has anyone been through the medical, and know whether you should get shots prior to it exam, or wait till the exam to do them. I read two different places for Hong Kong, one says you can wait til you apply for permanent residence, and then the other says its required for the K1, so I am really confused. Any help would be awesome thanks.

Shots are not required for K-1 but they are for AOS and if you have read threads the past month you'll see that people have a hard time finding doctors there will give them the shots in the states without the full medical.

And for your other question some people get their shots before there medical and some just get them doing the medical. No matter what it will be the doctor who does the medical who decide what shots is needed

So that's why I am asking because a lot of people have already been where I am, and hoping to find someone who might know, that's why I asked. Did you try asking in the Hong Kong forum? I had some questions that were Russia specific regarding the interview process and I had a decent reponse from people that had been through the K-1 already. I also searched the timelines of my fiance's country and asked someone via private message for advice.
