I was counting from the first working day after NOA2 notification, since when we receive the letter makes no difference. And my letters notice date is the same as my notification date.

So for the 4th.

7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th

14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th

21st 22nd

For the 7th,

8th, 9th, 10th, 11th

14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th

21st 22nd

And so on.

Seems logical to assume they'd begin work on sending it/send it the day after?

Or failing that, add 1 working day to all my earlier estimates, as that's how I counted those ones.

Aaaaaaaah I hope it's there today I'm about to call u have me excited now!!!!!?

Wasn't there :*(

Yes I know. Same here. I figured I need to be patient so that the phone lines are available for those ahead of us. When it's our time to call, I hope others show the same courtesy. It sure is hard, but it's best to call when we know we will receive good news.

So I called the NVC last night to see if they had our case yet, I picked the option to speak to someone for general questions and was on hold for 30 mins to just be told that I have to wait 35 days from my NOA2 date to make any inquiries.

Did I pick the wrong option or just get someone unhelpful? :/ If anyone has tips for what to ask the next time I call that would be great.

Are there any filers out there from the first week of January who haven't received either an NOA2 or RFE yet? Yes, I understand it takes many months in some cases. I'm interested in anyone who's filed for their I129-F between Jan 1-15 and are still waiting on any kind of notice after the NOA1. Thanks.

Sev,

I get told the same line about 35 days. I still call. Just make sure you prss 1 on the nonimmigrant line... I've never been on hold more than 5 minutes as of YET...calling all times of day. Only two have been nice. Keep it up :)

Our case has left NVC and is in transit. We thought once it was in transit we could do the DS-160. Which we just complete. But now looking at things it says we have to wait until the status is ready. Is that going to be a problem?
