I'm going to be calling the NVC for the first time tonight to see if they have received our case (NOA2 date was March 4).

NOA2 dated March 4 here, I just called NVC and they didn't receive my file yet. Will try again on thursday or friday now.

Yeah I figured I would call them at the end of the work day just incase they process it today, but I'm hoping it will be done sometime this week :)

I've been calling about 11pm GMT. Though as yet no luck.

Will also try tonight, though I am the Monday, 7th, after you guys. Though if they send in batches, maybe I'll be in the same lot.

It looks like it's taking 14 working days or so, by other people's timelines, so maybe Friday for me? Thursday for you? Is good friday a federal holiday?

It's all speculation. I've seen people say they are sent in groups to NVC, which makes sense to save on postage? I just don't know if its weekly, daily, fortnightly etc.

And it's just a best guess based on the most recent NVC numbers people have got. As it stands today is the 10th working day for me, and would be the 11th? for the other guys from the 4th.

So sometime this week... hopefully.

I'm curious when they'd send the files to NVC if they are grouped. Thursday overnight to Friday? Friday overnight to Monday? Not sure what makes most business sense... I'd guess Friday to Monday?

On the plus side, least there is a few of us near to each other, so we should have a good indication by when each other get the number.

Nice one, couldn't find anywhere that said it was so assumed, so they will still be processing then as well. Which is good all round... apart from for the people processing :(

Yeah, South Africa also.

Here in the U.S. neither Friday nor Monday is a holiday.

That's not to say as much work gets done on those 2 days as "normal" days though ;)

Got my RFE in the mail today, turns out we missed a checkbox in a section that looked very much like part of another section that didn't apply to us. My bad! I was thinking it would be because I didn't mention how exactly we met online in the first place, so maybe we will be getting a second RFE later down the road... Hopefully not, though. And I know I'm not supposed to send any info they didn't ask for, so I'll just wait. :P The RFE was just a blue piece of paper stapled to a paper with the checkbox options that I missed, plus a return envelope. It's easier than we expected (we thought we would have to send a packet with info!).

wow it took 2 weeks to get that. I hate that it takes so long. That's almost a month lost. Two weeks to get it, then to send it back, and then have them look at it again.

Don't worry, you'll get yours soon. Mine took forever because I'm in Poland and had to have it sent here.
