The NVC received our case today and I was able to get our case # and IIN#. I am not sure what a BIN# would be they didn't give me that.

Had they just received it? Had you called most days?

You're NOA2 was two weeks before mine, trying to work out if they'll have got later ones too.

It depends how long until the medical/how lucky you feel. You are meant to have the letter to go to the medical.

So if you schedule say, in 3 weeks time, you should have it.

I'm planning to schedule once I see mine get dispatched from NVC on tracker.


Now that we have our case number is it safe to book the medical and schedule the interview? or do we need to wait until it has left NVC?

Is there an NVC case app too? I don't know how to get an update without calling. I had the uscis case tracker but now that it has left CSC I assume that won't update me on anything.

Don't think it's an app, but there's a webpage link somewhere... I'd have to hunt for it. You then can search by the case number? LND###?

We received our approval last night! I went ahead and updated my timeline, and now I'm going to dig through more posts to figure out how it works from here. I've seen a lot of references to Packet 3 and Packet 4, and then some saying both are obsolete so I'm a bit confused. We'll be working with the Vancouver embassy. If anyone has any insight, don't hesitate to share (or point us me in the right direction)!

I was figuring 10 working days after NOA2 so I figure they may get it and do something with it next week sometime.

I just found out my fiance (the beneficiary) got a traffic ticket that he hasn't paid...do you guys think this could delay or prevent him from being approved or being issued a visa? I told him I would rather pay it and be safe but he insists it won't conflict lol

Anyone have any advice on what I should do? My duplicate visa petition that I had saved for the Embassy is lost, I cannot find it anywhere. Should I just try my best to make it look just like my old petition?

The embassy doesn't need it they already have your package when you are at the interview.
