We are wondering how long until the NVC will receive the case... anxiously waiting. Our case was approved in less than two months!

K1 mailed 1-17-2016

NOA 1 dated 1-21-2016

Case Approved 3-4-2016

NOA2 received 3-11-2016

It's usually between 5 to 10 days where NVC receives the case and assigns the case number. I'd suggest to start calling Monday and call every day thereafter until they confirm receipt and give you the case number.

Hello. Happy weekend. what have you all be upto?? here is an update of what we have been upto- we received the hardcopy of our approval notice via mail on Thursday. In the meantime, we already have the letter from bank, employer and tax return for 3 years (2013,2014 & 2015) together with w2 and return pay stub. we should start calling the NVC by next week to know if they have received our case. Is there anything we missing out here?

In the meantime, we already have the letter from bank, employer and tax return for 3 years (2013,2014 & 2015) together with w2 and return pay stub. we should start calling the NVC by next week to know if they have received our case. Is there anything we missing out here?

Similar story for us.

We received our NOA2 hardcopy on Thursday, we have the I-134 Affidavit of Support completed, 3 years of tax returns, letter from employer and bank, a few months worth of pay stubs and printed/signed new letters of intent (just in-case). I've requested my police records from the UK and Sweden and as soon as I get the packet/letter from the Embassy I'll book my medical.

What letter from the bank?

The letter from the bank is just stating how long the account has been open / how long my fiance has been a customer with them and that he is in good standing. Honestly I don't think they will even ask for it at Stockholm as my finance makes considerably more than he needs to sponsor me and we are applying at a low fraud embassy. But I like to be well prepared, so I'm going to gather as much as I can before my interview.
