Each case is different, you can check the current processing times for the I-129F petition, see the “Check Processing Times” page. USCIS process fiancé(e) petitions in the order they receive them but each application stands on it's own merit and therefore there are many influences that must be adjudicated. Your application and country are going to be different from someone else. Once they complete their processing, your approved petition is then forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will then send the petition to the U.S. Embassy or consulate, which will need time to process your fiancé(e) for a visa.

This is a game of waiting. They process over 6 million applications a year.

Just have to have patience as hard as that is to swallow. There was time that this process of application approval would take 8-9 months. When we processed our application 3 years ago it took 4-5 months. Now you are looking at 45-60 days. I wish I had your timeline and not mine.

Patience.

Also, just get the phone app and set it and leave it. Go about your daily life and forget about it. The app will do the "worrying" and will send you an alarm when it's found something. I am going through ROC now and I have the app set and I don't bother looking because I know it's going to take 5-6 months for approval and looking every day, 6-10 times is not going to speed things up.

Patience

My main concern is my fiance has a medical condition made worse by stress. I feel stupid for not requesting an expedite. The app also crashes on my phone so won't update, I check it once a day to see how far they have come, who they have approved around me (most of the ones near mine have either a RFE or approval now). If it's 45-60 days I should hear something soon then, considering I'm on day 56.

Was approved! Checked the morning and it still said "received".. Just checked again and it was approved yesterday! My NOA 1 date was January 19. Good luck everyone.

Congrats to all who got approved this week. We're waiting for our RFE in the mail so it can be forwarded to us overseas... So many delays.

mumbles, I looked at your timeline and I noticed you have Texas as the service center then a transfer... it should just be the California Service Center and no transfer because all the K-1 petitions went to CSC starting a while ago due to the backlog in TX.

The lockbox is in TX but they direct it to the service center from there. That will probably help you with better estimates too.

They haven't had much activity in the last couple days either... wonder if they had some kind of system slowdown or something of that sort.

I hope we see some good activity today and tomorrow. Last week on Friday they had a good number of approvals go out

No my fiance is in the US but he's flying over here thursday to get here friday for 9 days.

It was actually just routed to CSC, it wasn't an actual transfer or else it would have been routed to TSC and then you would of got a notice it was transferred.

Switch it to CSC without transfer

RFE, oh no.

But on a positive note, I've seen some timelines that they receive an RFE and respond quickly and receive approval pretty quickly thereafter as well.

I just hope it gets to him before he flies here so we can start sorting it out. I've a feeling it's his photo is the wrong dimensions as when we applied for his passport they rejected the photo and he used the same one for the application...

My noa1 date was the 21st. Should hopefully be getting mine soon.
