Question for everyone: when you got your NOA1/NOA2 e-mails, did both people get them?
Because I filled out papers for both my fiancee and me to get e-mail and text notifications, but when the NOA1 e-mail came through, he was the only one who received it, and I got my hard copy in the mail.

Just curious if this was specific to us or if it happened to others as well! <_<

For our NOA2 my fiancé (petitioner) didn't get an email, only I did. Although he got an email for the NOA1.

Gotcha. So maybe it's just a glitch in their system and they forget to send to both sometimes.

Thanks! Glad I'm not alone.

Honestly if he wasn't coming to stay for 9 days I'd be miserable. I can't sleep and I keep waiting up at the time they update the system every day to check (early in the morning here) It's sad I even know what time they update the system. I wish we'd applied in December now as I probably would of heard back.

Honestly I stopped coming on here for a few days because I needed a break, seeing people that applied weeks after you approved as happy as I am for them, it's making me paranoid that something is wrong with my petition.

I know how you feel! This waiting game is terrible. Out of curiosity, what time do you think they update the system? I keep checking the app about 10 times every day and I keep getting disappointed each time I see "Case Received." I know it's still early yet but seeing people get their NOA2 when they submitted their applications weeks after yours, gets your hopes up. Doesn't help that last night I dreamt we got approved today.

They update the RFEs earlier in the day, usually around 6pm GMT and then the approvals between 3:30 and 4:30am GMT so by my fiance's time that is 1pm and 10:30-11:30pm. With out fail if I wake up at 4:30 they will have updated the system. But never with anything for me

So . . . it doesn't do me any good to check my status multiple times during the day. Check it once in the morning is good enough.

Still not heard anything. I know I just have to wait, but I am waiting not so patiently now at day 55. I know a lot of people get approved at day 50 and bellow so it's making me question if perhaps something is wrong with my petition.

Same here. We are on day 56, and I'm starting to become paranoid, thinking something is wrong with the petition. There are people on this forum that say to relax, we will get a response, but it's hard when you have no idea what's going on with your petition. Is it lost? Did something come up during background checks? Do I have a slow adjudicator?? You just don't know! My fiance and I are currently a bit of a getaway if we can afford it, because this process is driving me crazy

Each case is different, you can check the current processing times for the I-129F petition, see the “Check Processing Times” page. USCIS process fiancé(e) petitions in the order they receive them but each application stands on it's own merit and therefore there are many influences that must be adjudicated. Your application and country are going to be different from someone else. Once they complete their processing, your approved petition is then forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will then send the petition to the U.S. Embassy or consulate, which will need time to process your fiancé(e) for a visa.

This is a game of waiting. They process over 6 million applications a year.

Just have to have patience as hard as that is to swallow. There was time that this process of application approval would take 8-9 months. When we processed our application 3 years ago it took 4-5 months. Now you are looking at 45-60 days. I wish I had your timeline and not mine.

Patience.

Also, just get the phone app and set it and leave it. Go about your daily life and forget about it. The app will do the "worrying" and will send you an alarm when it's found something. I am going through ROC now and I have the app set and I don't bother looking because I know it's going to take 5-6 months for approval and looking every day, 6-10 times is not going to speed things up.
