Out of interest, for the UCIS app, does anyone know if the status updates to indicate RFE or just for accepted?

And does it send a notification when this occurs?

I'm pretty sure I've seen other cases update with an RFE on the app, but I can't guarantee anything.

Our NOA1 date was January 4 and I've seen a lot of people near/on my date get accepted, but we're still waiting :( Still very anxious and worried that we'll get an RFE. We're out of the country now so the RFE will have to be scanned and sent to me by my father so I can send the right info in, otherwise it'd take weeks to be forwarded to me in Poland. Still crossing my fingers for everyone though, and sending good vibes!

Still optimistic/hopeful that I won't get RFE... but IMBRA is giving me cause for concern.

I'm in the same boat, if we get sent RFE it'll go to the US address, but we're both in the UK now... so it'll be problematic.

Why are you concerned about the IMBRA? Hopefully all checks come up clean!

Do you have someone who can scan and send you the doc if you do get an RFE? I dunno, part of me is optimistic because I checked my packet multiple times before sending, but the other part is worried that the person looking at my file will find something wrong with it. I've heard some officers are more thorough/picky than others... Knowing my luck, I'll get a picky one, haha.

We specified it wasn't IMBRA in the question tick box section, and provided a paragraph or so of explanation of the meeting, and evidenced that we've been in the same country for the past 3 years.

Yea, it'll get sent to her family home, so we can scan it simply enough. I was of the impression they gave a specific envelope and blue form to return it with though. So it may cause confusion. If anything I'd be inclined to scan and send the required information to her family, and have them send it. But... that raises more complications... will be easier to just not get a RFE...

Hopefully neither of us get a picky person...

Oh, I see. EHarmony is a well-known site so hopefully it won't raises any questions.

Yeah I think you're right actually, it might come with a specific mailing envelope... In which case we'd have to scan stuff and send to my parents too. I know my fiance wouldn't be happy about receiving an RFE either, and the more we wait (predicted acceptance date was Feb. 15-16) the more anxious I get. But like others have said, the long weekend probably held them back a few days, which is understandable. Ugggghhhhhhh, I wish we could all be accepted today!

'Maybe' being the key word. They could still RFE later, it just may be something less obvious. But I'm hoping with the same logic as you.

I'm British but have lived in Gothenburg for 5 years, my fiancé is from the USA!

So are you in Sweden now? Do you speak swedish?

Yeah I'm back in Sweden now, I was over in the USA for Christmas and New Year and we put together our visa application together while I was there. I've spent the last few weeks getting all the documents that I need for the interview and I'm fortunate that one of the approved medical offices for the visa is here in Gothenburg, so I'll be going there in the next week or two to get all of my vaccinations done before my medical exam.

I do speak passable Swedish at work, but as I'm sure that you know how great you Swedes are at speaking English! Much better than my Swedish is haha.
