For the affidavit, the I-134, when I downloaded the form for my fiance it says the form will expire of Feb 29, 2016. That expiration date is referring to the version of the form right? I don't mind waiting for the new version since I don't think we'll get our NOA2 until mid march. But what about the others, will the I-134 be invalid during their interview if their interview date is March and their fiance sends them the current version? Sorry if my question is confusing.

I already asked this question on the UK forum. No it doesn't expire it's up for review. It's fine to use the current form after that date.

Determine which Embassy you will process through, Vancouver or Montreal and then go to their website and read the instructions. Also, go to the Canadian sub-forum and ask your questions there. You'll have a better chance of getting the correct information from someone who has already completed the steps for Canada then someone who is just starting out like yourself in this thread.

The expiration date is there to have a reference point for those who are using the form. They recommend using the most current form for application purposes. Usually they are going to update the form and issue a new one around the expiration date of the most current form, but they always except the form if it has already been submitted when a new form is issued. Just use that form that you are siting.

There is sometimes when the document won't get up\dated for a month or two. Just use the one that is out there now. You'll be fine.

Hi everyone! My fiance sent the I-129F packet on Jan 27 and received a text message with the receipt number on Feb 2! He has not checked his p.o box address yet so i don't know if the Noa1 has already been sent. Anyway, the receipt number starts with WAC, do you guys know what it means?

oh no! my timeline is keep pushing further, in the first place it was March 1 to March 3 now it is March 3 to March 6

Yeah, I think the estimate gets pushed back because they're not seeing approvals as quickly as predicted. :/ but hopefully it'll come soon!

Hello people first of all this forum is been a great help to me .. providing lil info on my side have recieved noa1 on 13th Jan 2016 and I am waiting for the next noa2 any idea approx by when to expect it?.

My partner filed it to texas and is processed in csc I guess figured it out by reading different threads.. I am currently in india mumbai and one of my main concerns were I was in uk to study how ever did not finish it as fell in love and it was my world then so got married but down the line it did not work so came back to india and staying here since more than five years with my family .. never been a defaulter and all the divorce documents are as per norms and ready with me from UK as I was under eea family visa catogary. Then met this girl and heaven was under my feet again after 5 years of being alone and it's been more than 10 months we together got engaged in india with all my family and hers present.snaps attached with the file.

But before we got engaged I tried visiting usa by tour so we could see each other but was not given a visa and was told to try again.. will this affect our case...

Any advice or help would be appreciated. .
