Been so super just with my fiancé and children and tomorrow is the big day! Can't wait but also a bit nervous. Everything has been going great. Off to Vegas afterwards. Once we get back we will move on to the next step. Anyone have any pointers or how to proceed?

Happy to report back... Wedding Day was awesome!! Everyone had a great time and now I can't wait for the photographer to work on our pics and video :)

Now to start working on the AOS packets... I have 3 to prepare, one for my wife and 1 each for her 2 boys... wish us luck!! :)

I checked my I-94 online. Last week it said I had entered on the 29th of July but now my most recent entry is from my last visit in April. That's weird? I want to apply for my SSN after 2 weeks now!

15 days and still no news on my finances social security number... we've been checking online but is that updated regularly?

Did you already go by in person? After 14 days I still have no spot in the SAVE database either. But just wait it out another few days and then go to SS office.

UPDATE: My husband and I had a bad experience this morning at my local SS office, the worker was very rude and told us we couldn't get a social security number because we were already married. We went to another Social Security office and we were able to explain the situation to them, and my husband was finally able to submit his application for a social security number. We could not find him in the SAVE database but the workers at the social security office were able to find him in the database. Exhausting!!

Our AOS Journey:

09/02/2016- Sent AOS Paperwork to Chicago lockbox (I-485, I-765, I-131)

09/05/2016- Paperwork received by Chicago lockbox

09/08/2016- NOA1 Texts Received

09/10/2016- NOA1s received in the mail

09/24/2016- Received biometrics letter in the mail for October 3, 2016

09/30/2016- Biometrics completed (walk-in, Tukwila)

10/01/2016- Notice of Request for Initial Evidence via text (I-485)

10/06/2016- Received RFIE in the Mail for I-864, Sent back response

10/12/2016- RFIE Received by USCIS

10/25-26/2016- Approval and Card Being Produced for EAD/AP

11/04/2016- Case Status changed to 'Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview'

11/07/2016- Case Status changed to ' Card was Mailed To Me'

We couldn't get the i 94 because customs typed the name wrong. Went to customs and after like 30 mins got it fixed. He was a cool dude. And he was struggling himself to find her.

Ugh that makes me nervous because we got married last week and my fiance still isn't in the SAVE database!

We couldn't get the i 94 because customs typed the name wrong. Went to customs and after like 30 mins got it fixed. He was a cool dude. And he was struggling himself to find her.

Our port of entry is thousands of miles away from us so I hope that didn't happen to my fiance x.x

We haven't gone by in person because we don't want them to try to "expedite" it and make things take longer... hopefully it'll be sorted out soon.

I'm gonna call the CBP tomorrow (found three phone numbers I could call. Customer service-ish, Deferred Inspections Nashville and CBP Reporting Memphis.) and see if they can fix it because I'm so ready to get added to the bank account and healthcaree of my soon-to-be-husband.

I wonder if I can go by with my passport stamp + explanation if they allow me my SSN.

I had a pretty bad experience with social security, it took me 5 weeks AFTER applying at the social security office to get my number, turns out they made a mistake. After receiving authorization from DHS and SAVE on the same day I applied, the officer incorrectly matched the authorization to the application, so it was just sat at the office for over 4 weeks doing nothing. It took me multiple phone calls and hours on hold to get it fixed.

But now I have it! I have received my state ID so I don't have to carry my passport around everywhere with me, got my first credit card to start building a good credit rating and I have my AOS, Work Authorization and Advance Parole applications filed, now I'm back to waiting for USCIS just like I was a year ago for the K1 ;)
