How long did it take him to get his and how far out did you book? His embassy saiys approximately two weeks. Not many from his country fill out the time line but I've seen three days to ten to twelve

From what I've heard is that plane tickets are the cheapest either 3 of 6 weeks before. You could wait another week or one or two and then just book, hoping the visa will be there on time or just wait until the visa is there and then book 3-6 weeks from there. Then again, it might be more expensive from where he's flying than them ost of us are flying.

We booked ahead of time.

I left extra time at the tail end.

Now we are packing and waiting for the embassy to contact us to ask where we want it sent.

A little over 2 weeks and we'll be getting on the plane ... hopefully

This whole process is a guessing game :dancing:

That would have been ideal but he didn't want to book before his interview. Now we don't have that time to wait nor want too. We are getting married the 6th of August

Yay. Embassy told us visa will be ready for pick up tomorrow.

So no news from the panel psychian or consulate after medical is good news right? Haven't heard anything after my medical on Thursday and submitting the documents of 1994 hospital records about tuberculosis (my dad was infected, I got preventive treated, clean xray) so I'm guessing my interview is still on in 2 weeks..
