Okay so the stupid place where fiance got his medical done hasn't sent his medical results to him as yet - they said they were waiting for him to submit a vaccine but he said he did it at the medical.. they checked back and confirmed he did get the vaccine so it's their fault.

Our interview is this Wednesday! Will it be an issue at the interview?? Can we mail the medical to the Consulate once he receives it? What do we tell the consulate? I'm panicking!

Our consulate won't even let u through the gate without the sealed envelope of results from medical. I suggest you contact the embassy and do some research on VJ

Depends on the embassy, but some people have said they had the interview before they received the medical and they still got thru, just had to wait to get their passport until the embassy received their medical stuff. So you might get a tentative approval until they receive all the information. But like others said you might not even get in the door. The place where my fiancé did his medical actually gave him the envelope when he was there, so there was no waiting.

Little update:

Today we went to my local SS Ofc and applied for my fiancée's SSN. We took the application already filled out, got a number and were literally called up within 5mins. The lady assisting knew what she doing... asked for her passport with the I-94 in it, birth certificate (if we had it, if not it was ok) and that was it. Asked my fiancée a couple routine questions like has she ever lived or worked in the U.S. before and that was it.

We were done in approx. 10 mins. Gave us a document with her name and address that says she'll receive her card within 2 weeks and said "Congrats, have a nice day!".

Well, today proved how tight the rules are for tuberculosis. Alarm bells obviously went off when I mentioned I had (closed) TB 21 years ago but I'm treated, clean and immune. But the psychian wasn't convinced so my medical history needs to be send to them. My xrays came out perfectly clean, no TB, no scar tissue of whatsoever from the TB. I hope this ends well! Now we wait for July 15th, interview date.

Finally, on June 22, our i-129f was approved! :dancing:

Congrats! Such good news!!

Thank you all! It's such a relief, and I was so sure we'd get an RFE for only telling them we met online, not where we met online (from what I understand some people get an RFE for not telling what site they met on?). Anyway, so very happy now.
