Question for those who have filed the DS-160 -- is the visa fee payment confirmation included in the appointment confirmation page? I'm trying to figure out how to prove I paid the fee...

I didn't have to pay when filling out the DS-160. It's probably country specific but as I'm British I paid when I was booking my K1 Visa appointment here https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv

If it's the same as the UK, we pay the fee when booking the interview after the DS-160, our receipt is emailed to us, and can be accessed through the site linked above as well.

I still wonder why it takes my Consulate so long for my interview date, now I'm really getting impatient lol. I've seen others getting their packet 4 within a few days.

U enter your email address at the right spot in your account in the consulate portal to link the visa payment to your fiancé. Then it allows for scheduling

Update!

I arrived in the US yesterday, POE was very easy I just went through the normal passport control, no secondary processing and no questions apart from when was the wedding date and a reminder to file all the paperwork before 90 days!

So happy to finally be here!

I thought I could just walk in the Social Security office in Cookeville and apply for one lol

You can even download the form to apply for it online before you go. Just remember your stuff to take with you and you'll be fine :)
