Brandy, how's the AOS paperwork/process looking? I haven't looked at that yet... but I'm assuming I should soon. Is the guide here on VJ still a current guide for the process? I think the only thing that holds us K-1 people back from finishing the AOS paperwork is the marriage certificate, right? Everything else we can start putting together I think?

Yes that's the biggest setback is marriage certificate.... I haven't seen try guide yet but I printed the forms out

There are list of options as shown below.. but i want to know where to write my account balance;.. i mean the amount of money i have in my account, the same one the bank manager will state in the letter.. does that amount has to be written in any of the options below? is it "deposit in savings bank"??

the example form on here left that space blank... can someone help with this please...

In February/March this year, I (petitioner) decided to be proactive and get all the documents necessary for the Affadavit of Support form (letters from my bank stating the amount deposited, active since, etc). I didn't actually sign the form until this month. Our interview is June 22nd.

Do I need to get updated documents?

My fiance did the same thing. He decided to get everything updated when he sent his evidence of support just in case.

I think I would suggest the same and try and get updated, more recent documents.

Side note: the only thing I put on my I-134 was my annual salary from my employment. My income is enough to clear the requirement so I didn't fill out any other info such as bank account balances, property, etc. I included the last 3 mos. paystubs, letter from employer dated within 30 days of the interview and copy of my 2013-2015 tax transcripts..

I just noticed that there's something called "notice date" on the NOA1 hard copy, is that the date that is NOA1 or is NOA1 the date when you received the text/email? Our "notice date" says December 30, but we didn't get the text/email until January 5 and then the hard copy on January 8.

Yes, that's the NOA1 official notice date, not the email or text date.

I still can't believe it's been that long for you... soon as you pass the mark though, I would start calling in and send an email too. Look up info on getting an official involved so you can be ready.

Yes, I had a serious talk with my man earlier today about calling, emailing and all other kinds of stuff one can do once the 5 months are up. So he's ready and prepared now. It's good to know that the NOA1 date was a few days earlier than we thought, now we can start calling already on tuesday.

hi everyone.

i have no income for last 3 years. im a business owner corporation but i not able to show my business tax because is not solo business. my brother and my friend will co-sponsor me and as look searched i can just show one co-sponsor can i take one as back up if one of the did not approve just show them the 2th one ?

i know that i have to provide i-134for myself too. i have no income but i have a lot of asset. like : 2 home paid off worth about 60k each. bank account checking. 5 vehicle worth 80k. is that okay if i put them as asset?? ? or just leave it blank ?
