just wanted to give a quick update: my fiance and i finished DS-160 and collected all of his documents...he is going back to Serbia on June 6th and literally scheduled his medical for the same day haha so he'll send back his notice of readiness that same day as well! and hopefully will hear about an interview date quickly!!! :dancing:

Just checking in... it's been one hell of an adventure here in Juarez. System down/failure at the medical, records lost, wrong case number entered and delays up the ying yang lol

Tomorrow is the interview tho... it's in God's hands now after all that ordeal we went thru hahaha

Just called NVC and they have received our petition and have assigned us a case number! It's not been sent to London yet though. Just to confirm, am I correct in thinking that I can I get on with booking medical, filling out DS-160 now?

Thanks. I filled out the DS-160 last night and saved it, rather than submitting it. Got timed out a few times like others have mentioned but overall wasn't too onerous to fill out!

Also, I want my medical to take place in the first week of July to fit in with our plans. I called Knightsbridge yesterday and they aren't taking July bookings until June. Thought I would mention in case anyone else is in the same situation.

Things have been crazy at work so I haven't posted in a while but just wanted to say congrats to all those making progress and send "move it along" vibes for those still waiting.

As for where we are, my fiancé's medical is on the 26th, followed by his interview on the 31st. Assuming all goes well he'll move down to Seattle on June 18th and we'll head to the courthouse on the 23rd!

Yes but make sure you give the embassy enough time to get your petition.
