Not sure about anyone else, but mine went to "in transit" last night and today it says "ready" so it must have been sent and received overnight. Hopefully others get sent out soon!

And on the consulate portal yesterday it went from your passport is still at the embassy, to your passport is being delivered to post... To your passport has been picked up. And sill says it's been picked up. But he hasn't gotten the email it's ready to be picked up from the cargo express center! Freaking out a little bit now!!!! Uuuugh.......... Prayers for us all. !

If it says its been picked up I don't blame you for freaking out! Maybe call the embassy to make sure someone didn't screw something up?

Uhhhhh so I was able to contact the embassy about printing out the CGI slip, and they told me my petition wasn't even at the embassy!! Which is wrong because I contacted them a few days ago and they said it was there!!

In talking with 2 other people who are processing thru Mexico and who's cases were assigned and sent to the consulate after mine, their cases show status on CEAC as "Ready" while mine still shows as "In Transit"

I called NVC and they confirmed they sent it out on 4/28 and that it's been delivered.

So I called the consulate phone number and they confirmed my case and said to just keep checking the status, maybe they just haven't updated it. He said not to worry hahaha But I'm here thinking... maybe I *should* worry hahaha

Opinions anyone?

Yes, it's set for the 17th. I'm not exactly sure what to do right now hahaha

Hahahaha lucky!!!! I was hoping we would be able to at least pay the visa fee before the exchange rate changed again. It's expensive!! It went from 1,000 bolivares(about 1 dollar on the black market) to over 100,000 in less than a month and a half (over 100 dollars on the black market) and the exchange rate just keeps going up. He's stressed, I'm stressed. We're making each other stressed lol

I know, it's crazy!!! I think it's because the economy there is collapsing badly because of low oil prices, and the local currency is suffering from hyperinflation, at 720% last time I checked, it may be more

On another note... I can't wait 'till this (beginning stage) of the whole process is over with. All this "up in the air" nonsense not knowing puts a toll on you.

I agree!! This whole process is a lot, and not knowing makes it even worse, especially when you want to plan things out, like wedding and a honeymoon, but you can't really do it....

It really is frustrating. And strains your relationship. I feel like if we can make it through this then there's nothing we can't handle! We're all crazy for dealing with this in the first place! Ha ha ha ha ha! But it will make an interesting story for the kids and grandkids!!!! We're all blessed!!!!
