Wow. So interesting. I didn't even know there was such a thing.

I have not been contacted, but everyone that I tell about the process says "you mean like that show 90 day fiancé?"

Yea we watched a season and thought wouldnt that be weird if they contacted us. But we both agreed we would never do that cuz there already is too much strain and its reality tv so you know they create drama. Seriously was like is this a joke? They responded back said no and gave me details. Funny story to tell people though lol

How am I able to track the petition online to see if it's on its way to the consulate?

It's ridiculous isn't it? I've never had something time out like that while I was literally still typing.

We've gotten our Packet 4 but we're unable to schedule the interview for some reason. The site isn't recognizing our case #. Waiting to hear back from them. I'm interested to hear if anyone else has a similar problem once they try to schedule.

Too funny. I personally wouldn't do it either, but agree, it's a great story.

We got contacted too... and we even went as far as doing a Skype interview which they edited and presented to TLC but we didn't make the "selection cut" hahaha Which I was secretly hoping we didn't because yes, it adds extra strain and plus we don't really have "drama".

But it was fun to do the skype interview :)

I know it was. I was getting antsy cuz I know I can type faster than my fiance lol so I wanted to do it for him. We were on skype doing it together. Fiance can't get his vaccinations til Wednesday :( So we are stuck for a week. Soooo close

TOOOO ridiculous!! Hahaha!!! I found myself getting mad at my poor computer hahahaha

For us for Mexico processing it should be smooth sailing, we don't really have to wait for a Packet 3 or Packet 4. We can schedule everything right away and then just wait for the letter or get a copy there at the consulate when we arrive.

that makes more sense now when I was watching a video on youtube of all documents needed. This lady said she needed that to prove she wasnt married and I thought that was crazy but she was also from Phillipines. No mention of a Cenomar in the instructions. Thanks for the help!

How did that interview go? Ha ha ha

It was cool, the asst. producer just asked a lot of questions such as "How do you think life will be once they arrive?", "What are some cultural differences between you too?", "How will your life change?" etc. etc. Which me and Karla later talked about and it was nice to hear each other's comments and I think it actually even made us even stronger than we already are hahaha! She had a ton of fun with it and I'm happy I at least tried it. Afterwards though we both said we were glad we didn't get selected :)

You know they go to the couples where they think there may be some drama or controversy. smh. No drama here. Least not in our relationship and family is pretty okay with it all. Now more tahn before cuz they have to be lol.

1/17/17: EAD/AP Combo Card recv'd via USPS Priority Mail [Day 119]

1/27/17: AOS Interview :star: - APPROVED!! :dance:  [Day 129 / 120 w/ 9day RFIE delay]

1/27/17: AOS Case status update - Approved | 1/31/17: New Card in Production | 2/1/17: Card Was Mailed

8/28/20: Case Status Update - RFE [Day 582 ~ 19 mos. 4 days] | 11/20/20: Case Status Update - RFE response recv'd [Day 666 ~ 21 mos. 27 days]

1/7/21: Case Status Update - New Card in Production :dance: [Day 714 ~ 23 mos. 14 days]
