Mine says that too but here we book our own interview so it depends on how your embassy does it :)

That is what I was thinking plus he hasnt done a medical yet and according to this site for his country its done prior to booking interview. Im just assuming its information they are sending. But they updated it fast

Wow just looked again and its already updated to in transit and says my interview date was provided to me by nvc. Im assuming by mail

Try not to assume much, it's better to research and find more concrete information :) [in a friendly tone]

Trying searching through your country's sub-forum. If not, look in the timelines and go back a couple months and look for other couples who processed through your same country embassy and send them a private message too asking for a little bit of help. This way you're getting information from somebody who actually went thru the same process and your same country embassy.

I'm still waiting to get assigned a case number. Somebody with NOA2 3/25 processing thru the Mexico consulate called yesterday and was told the processor got transferred to the State Dept and that caused an additional 1 1/2 weeks delay... I guess they only have "one" processor for Mexico cases?! LOL :rofl:<_<

Just got the email 40 mins ago that they approved my visa petition yesterday. So now the wait for NVC starts. I'm really happy as I was worried it might take longer. But I'm hoping to get my medical booked for mid may once I get the number :)

Hello all!

I got my NOA2 on March 22nd. I called the NCV today (first time) and got my Case & Invoice numbers :D

Just logged on the website https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx and it says "At NVC"

...if this can be useful to anyone in a similar timeline as mine ;)
