So last week I finally proposed to my girlfriend! And I'm new to the forums and been reading the process on how to get my fiance to the US. Just have a few questions about what I need to do, FYI I'm following the K1 Fiance Visa Step-by-Step guide.

On behalf of my fiance (girlfriend) I'm assuming she would have to send me the following

  • G-235A (signed by her)
  • Passport Photos
  • Letter of intent of getting married signed by her/and myself

Once I receive this from her I will submit it with the I-129F with the $340 fee, cover letter, my birth certificate, proof we have met in the past 2 years, and passport photos. Is that correct? Is there anything else I missed or documents she needs to sign that needs to be sent to me?

Another question is, she was born in Argentina and moved to Panama when she was 15, and is currently a resident there. She has dual citizenship from Spain/Argentina but no Panama passport. Will there be any issues? And since her current residence is in Panama, if I'm correct the US Embassy in Panama will receive the paper work correct?
