I am very excited! 01/21/16 was the priority date, and my husband was approved on 04/07/16. The USCIS website says:

"On April 7, 2016, we approved your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number YSC*******. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice."

The difficult part is the I-601A--we'll be claiming medical hardship since I have poor health, and I couldn't live in Guatemala and receive proper medical care (and I can't live here by myself because my husband helps take care of me when I get sick).

Thank you everyone for all of your posts, it's encouraging to not feel alone in this process.

That means it was sent to the NVC on that date. You should get a NOA2 approval letter soon, probably Monday or Tuesday.

Congratulations! Don't forget to update your status so others can get a better insight in Potomac ;)

May I ask, did you do a "normal" CR1 for a spouse, as in, no expedite, no DCF and the likes?

Take heart, if you look at others' timelines who have gotten RFE, you'll see that they are almost always approved very quickly after they send in their additional evidence. It isn't the answer you wanted, but if you can send in whatever they want quickly, you'll probably still be approved faster than some of us at other service centers. Good luck!
