On July 30th my status changed to 'case is ready to be scheduled for an interview', but since then nothing has changed. It's been nearly three months and nothing else has happened. Has anyone else been waiting this long? I contacted my congressman and he said there is nothing he can do. Does anyone know of anything I can do myself?

It can take a long while, depending on your local office. Big cities with a higher concentration of immigrants tend to take a lot longer, such as Dallas, Boston, etc.

Try looking at the processing times for your local office at uscis website, it was just updated and can give you a better estimated (but not a 100% accurate) prediction

In my case, after AP and EAD it was all quiet between April to mid-September. Congressman said all he could do was to ask for status updates but nothing else. I don't even have the "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" status. They just updated to "Interview is scheduled" status. My interview is this coming Tuesday.

I see that your local office is NYC. Green Bee is also from NYC and he already got his interview late August. If this has been 90 days or more since last action, I think you can submit a ticket to USCIS asking for updates.

Hello everyone. Just had my interview yesterday at Oct 20, 2016 and got approved on the spot. Congratulations on all the other approvals on to those whose waiting just hang in there. See you in two years.

Had my interview at the Federal plaza and the officer said she was going to do some checks and hopefully the card will arrive within two to six weeks. Fingers crossed

Same here. Interviewed this morning. Officer needs further review. She said it would take a month or two! Oh no...

Possible red flag for us could be we didn't have a wedding. And most of our pictures only showed the two of us. We had a picture with both side of parents but I didn't print out. Hopefully no Stokes interview.

Got our 2yr Green Card in the mail today!!! (mailed the AOS Jan 12th !)

So finally friends ----- I have my Green card.....Yaaaaay

Exactly ten months after applying I have the card now valid for two years.

I have a few questions:

1. Who gets a 10 year green card? My GC is marriage based. Do all marriage based GC candidates get two years GC?

2. My son back home also got his immigration approved and passport stamped. He will be joining us soon. I want to know whether his card will also be two years conditional?

Congrats! And I have my green card too! We are also marriage based. If you marriage is less than 2 years they will give you a 2-year conditional green card. 6 months before this conditional GC expires, we will need to apply to remove the conditions.

Hi, I had my interview on the 28th of November and my case was approved, but the lady interviewing me said that I need to submit a new immunisation record because my medical was over a year old. However, a few days ago I got my approval notice and not the letter she said she would send about it and I just checked my status online and it said my card had been mailed to me. Do you think I actually need to get immunisation record now that I'll soon have my card in hand?

I think most of us got approved months and months ago.  This is long past waiting to contact the state congressman asking them to check on it or making an infopass appointment.  Talk to a congressman ASAP, contact USCIS and let them know the situation right away.  TODAY!!!  It's legitimately possible something got lost on the way.  It's been a year, way too long.

Depending on what local office you have, a year way well be normal...but the advice above is right. You need to get pro-active, file a service request, involve representatives, contact USCIS etc.

Thanks for all the respond, I did make into USCIS office today, was told that our file was filed into wrong file, somthing about A file is waiting for C file, and C file is waiting for the A file.. anyway.. the office did called the the location where my files at and they going to strighten it out, should get a respond within a week.
