Status changed to 'Card was Delivered To Me By the Post Office' with a tracking number today (April 8th, 2016)

The Combo EAD/AP was in my mailbox.

Hurdle one finished.

I am guessing with my RFE that the AOS application is reset and delayed by 30-90 days.

I had RFE on my I-485 as well, and I was told by USCIS that if the status does not change within 60 days of USCIS receiving the RFE response, I should call and put an inquiry. So, you could put inquiry on May 9th if there is no status change until then.

April 4th marks 30 days that USCIS has received my husband's RFE response for his I-485.

If we don't hear anything by May 4th, we will definitely be putting in an inquiry.

Hi.

I had my road test today at DMV. I passef, however she asked me for immigration papers. She did not accept my visa since it is expired - k1. So I handed in my EAD card which was issued 03/30/16 so it has been almost two weeks. However, the system did noy veryfy it and she could not issue me driving license. She said she needs to send it over and as soon as i am verified in SAVE database they will issue document. Does anyone has any insight on this? If the ead card was issued by goverment how come it is not in the system? Anyone has idea how long it may take?? Thanks

hello everyone... last week we received the RFE for the I-485, USCIS is requesting the Medical Exam again. I didn't submit one with the application because my now husband did his physical and medical in DR before he received his Visa.

I read thru all the threads and confirmed as long as his medical was done within the year we did not need another one, needless to say to avoid any further delays we paid again and did the physical. We already received his EAD and where waiting on the AP, but guess what??? Today we received another RFE for the AP? What can they possible want for the AP? Has anyone received an RFE for the AP?

Unfortunately, this is very common. It can take 4 weeks to be in the system. I wouldn't worry - give it a week or two and then call.

So my wife received her AP/EAD combo card this past Thursday.

I go online to check the status of her AOS today and its saying: "New card is being produced."

Errr, I'm guessing that this means that her Green Card was approved with the interview being waived?

Has anyone had their AoS interviews yet? I've read every question in the common questions list for AoS and wanted to know how it went from more recent interviews.

As a side note we checked today and EAD/AP were approved today. Our interview is on Friday so once she gets the 2 year conditional card will the EAD still be required when she applies for work or will the 2 year card be sufficient for that?

hey everyone! I have lots and lots of updates.

I got my drivers license in the mail today, all i did was trade in my canadian one for the floridian one and paid the fee- no test. Had to wait for it to show up in the mail and in the mean time i had a paper license (no photo on it).

Also My AOS updated and changed from "new card in production" to "case approved"

Also I had a job interview before the weekend and I got the job today!!

Thank everyone for all the support and questions being answered, I hope to see some of y'all again during our "lifting conditions" thing, best of luck to you all!!
