Hi everyone!

Just received my RFE in the mail for EAD and another one for AP. For others who wonder how long it takes between the update online and the actual letter in the mail with the details; for mine it took 7 days. I live out in the country in Alabama so it usually takes mail a little longer to get here.

Both requests are asking for a photo ID which I put in the packet, but I'm grateful that's all they're asking for. And the letter was yellow, don't know why but I've read some people receiving blue letters for RFEs.

I have to send my reply overnight to Kansas, guess it's been to 3 places then haha.

Hopefully I'll get my approval before I leave the country the 23rd!! Praying!!

Congratulations!

Did you get a tracking number? My card was mailed the same day as you and I still have not received the card.

It said that the tracking number was unavailable. Then on wednesday status changed that my card was picked up by the post office and then the tracking number appeared.

2 days for the card to be delivered. Exactly a week from approval.

You can have the rep create a service request.

But an Infopass appointment is something that I feel, makes a slight difference. You really should make an Infopass appointment.

At the Infopass appointment, the rep will look up the details of your case and will create an inquiry on your behalf.

It may be coincidental but after the Infopass appointment, literally the next day, our EAD/AP was approved.

Speak to Tier 2. They should be able to provide you with a tracking #.

Just received my EAD/AP card in the mail. It is exactly a week after it was approved. I never received any tracking number but am glad that the card arrived on time. :dancing:

Now, hope the I-485 will move soon but I had an RFIE last month. :cry:

We just received the EAD card, but it's not a combo card. It says not valid for reentry to U.S.. This is confusing since the EAD and AP were both approved on the same day (March 31st). Has anyone else gotten an EAD only card when they were expecting a combo card? Are we supposed to receive a separate AP card then?

My AP has been approved thats all I know so I hope it shows up in the mail soon, although I did get updates on USCIS site about my EAD card in production, case approved, card mailed out, card picked up by USPS with tracking number and same day as this update the card was in my mailbox. Any how, I hope I get my AP soon since the EAD says "this does not permit re entry into the states" or something like that.

Also no change AT ALL on AOS - still says fingerprint fee received - no RFE.

Looks like I am not alone. And as of now I am still waiting for the AP to arrive. I highly doubted it would be a card. I am expecting an I-797C or some notice that says "OK to travel".

We received the card today and it is indeed a combo card with the I-512 designation at the bottom.

I had the biggest sigh of relief when I saw it.

But I feel for you guys. Come on USCIS. These were supposed to be combo cards.
