My address was updated about 3 week ago and still no update when I talked to level 2 support today. they still had our address missing on EAD application. lol

I contacted congressman today.

That is dispiriting to hear. I'm basically in the same situation, with a Tier 2 person having updated my address last week (supposedly). He told me I'd receive my biometrics letter within two weeks. There's a lot of action in my Case History when I check my case online, including "On March 17, 2016, we sent a response to your Fingerprints/Biometrics, referral number XXXXX." I'm waiting for this to show up in my mailbox. If that's not my biometrics letter then I will get my congressman involved too...

K1 Visa timeline: Application sent to Visa in hand: 10 months and 4 days (Texas Service Center)

02/26/2015: I-129F Application mailed to Texas lockbox

03/05/2015: NOA1 email notification

08/27/2015: NOA2! (176 days)

09/02/2015: Sent to NVC

04/18/2016: Biometrics appointment

04/25/2016: Officially outside processing times for EAD/AP. Scheduled Infopass appointment for 05/10.

05/21/2016: Finally received email notice that EAD was approved on 05/19 after numerous service requests, infopass appt and ombudsman inquiry

05/23/2016: Received hard-copy letter notifying me that my AP was approved on the same day as my EAD. No hard-copy for EAD yet.

05/28/2016: Received EAD/AP Combo Card (122 days since filing).

06/21/2016: Received email notification of AOS interview (Appointment scheduled 07/21/2016)

07/21/2016: AOS interview. Approved, but file was missing medical. Local office can't issue GC until they receive medical from DOS.

Very lucky, good for you!

Sadly, we can't really interpolate from these case - none of us really know where our cases actually are - local office, any other office, NBC...who knows. But on the plus side, us Jan filers should have more than 2/3s of our waiting for EAD/AP done. Fingers crossed.

I'm getting the impression that there is contact with your local field office, regardless of whether it is sent there or not. All early approvals I've seen so far seem to come from roughly the same offices. So you may want to keep a look out for K-1 one time lines from oct. till jan for your local office. It worked out pretty close for the Norfolk office.

Good tip - Newark is so notonriously slow though, lol, that I rather not look to avoid depression. :)
