Got our notice in the mail today for our interview. Been waiting for a couple weeks and got the notice today. Checked the website yesterday and it was not updated there at that time, but it is updated now. Four weeks to go now!!!

congrats!! You got an interview scheduled and it was a month out? i thought interviews if you get them are like 4 months after finding out they are scheduling for interview?

me & my wife's EAD card is not being produced. We are both on H1b and have filed AOS under employment based category.

Entered USA on L2 Dependent Visa -- March 10th 2012

Filled H1B -- April 1 2012

H1B -- Approved October 2012

Employer filed our Labor certification with Department of Labor -- June 1 2015

Labor Certification Approved on -- Dec 9th 2015

I-140 & AOS filled concurrently at Nebraska service center -- Jan 15th 2016

NOA for I-140 received on -- Jan 20th 2016

I-140 petition for foreign worker approved & mailed by USCIS on -- Jan 21st 2016

NOA for I-485, I-765, I-131 received on - Jan 26th 2016

Biometrics appointment letter received on -- Jan 26th 2016

Biometric appointment successfully completed on -- Feb 10th 2016

EAD & AP approval notification received on -- 21st March 2016

congrats!! You got an interview scheduled and it was a month out? i thought interviews if you get them are like 4 months after finding out they are scheduling for interview?

I don't know why we got so lucky, we had our bios done in late February and we got the appointment notice just over 3 weeks later. Our office was very slow (city of 100K people) when we went in for bios so maybe that has something to do with the speed they are getting appointments out. I'd think the longer delays were from bigger cities that have more people going through them for AoS so they have to schedule them farther out to make it fit for everyone.

So here is what happened. I called USCIS and talked to Tier 2 and found out that their system is missing (????) our address which explains why we haven't received our biometric letter yet. And the Tier 2 support was wondering how in the world we were able to get the NOA dated 1/29 if they're missing the address. He manually updated our address from "... blank" to our current address but he said it'll take 2 - 3 weeks minimum to process our new biometric letter. It's interesting how their scanner could've missed our address is just beyond my imagination. My next question is then has the scanner missed any other info on our application??? I guess we'll find out in a month. sigh....

So I called back again and talked to level 2 support. I was told there is still no update for the i485 application; and also learned that they are "still" missing the supposedly updated address for the I765. :ranting:

I finally sent an email to local congressman for help.

He filed it January 4th, so it's 75 days.

It's pretty accurate to what the timeline was estimating (between March 27-March 31)

Congrats! I filed on Jan 4th too and other than biometrics, I have heard nothing from USCIS. Status check still shows "Case was received".

Hopefully some good news later this week.

1/5/2016 - Sent joint PAR (130), AOS (485), EAD (765) to Chicago Lockbox (NBC)

1/7/2016 - USPS indicated delivery at PO Box

4/2/2016 - Received EAD Card in our mailbox... So it's NOT a EAD/AP combo card... I guess AP has an earlier expiration date? Oh no.

4/7/2016 - Received AP Authorization to Parole forms in our mailbox... 1 year expiration same as EAD...

5/18/2016 - Met with Congressman and inquired about I-485 status

5/23/2016 - Congressman replied that "cases are pending background check clearance." Oh no...

9/20/2016 - Applicant used AP at POE to enter United States

9/24/2016 - Received interview notice in our mailbox... Interview scheduled on 10/25/2016! Didn't receive any email notification... Hmm.

10/25/2016 - Interviewed at San Jose, CA Field Office. Case needed further review. Zzzzz...

10/26/2016 - AOS "Case was Approved" according to USCIS Case Status Check!!!!! Just one day...

10/31/2016 - "Card/Document Production... We mailed you the new card..." according to USCIS Case Status Check

11/3/2016 - Received USPS Priority Mail Envelope with GC in our mailbox! Green Card in hand finally!!!

10/1/2018 - Received USCIS reminder in mail to remove conditions

anyone that was waiting for Biometrics because of "no address on file" received a letter yet?? almost 2 months for us and no letter :(

My address was updated about 3 week ago and still no update when I talked to level 2 support today. they still had our address missing on EAD application. lol

I contacted congressman today.

Just checked my husband's status and his EAD and Advanced Parol was APPROVED on March 19th!

So happy!!

So now we wait to see how long until we hear back from the RFE response that we sent back on March 4th.
