Hi everyone. i filed in January of this year and I didn't look for this post so I'm sorry im not up to date on anyone's progress.

As for me: I filed AOS and EAD/AP Jan 19, that is when they got my paperwork.

I recieved my NOA1s and texts on Jan 26

My AOS status read: Recieved fingerprint fee on Jan 26

Bio appt was feb 16, i did not do a walk in, i went to my appointment as scheduled.

My status has not changed since. Its been about 50 days since filed and none of my statuses have changed and no RFEs so far. I still check every day in case it says the sent an RFE.

Anyone with similar timeline already have interview scheduled?

Same here. In about 30d we could expect the EAD/AP - or we'll have to start chasing after it. With regards to the GC, no way of knowing, could be 4 weeks, 4 months or a year. Could get an interview or could get an interview waiver.

I have been going through the various timelines, trying to find some sort of pattern, but there are just to many variables.

I had a spreadsheet for the K1 process and got my date right by 2 days.

But with potential interview waivers (CSC) of last year (lets pray we will not see a reappearance of that one), the different field offices, interview or not and the human error factor, it just does not want to give me any reliable data.

It does look like there is a round of early approvals. And it also looks like January early approvals should be around the corner. (my forecast is by the end of this month).

Who will be the lucky one? Your guess is as good as mine.

Husband and I had an Infopass appointment yesterday due to immigration not resending a notice which was undeliverable by USPS, and the IO informed us that my AOS case is in California and is marked as "potential interview waiver"... Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing tbh! ?

By the way, is there a way you can set your own interview or reschedule an interview in case the date they set it on a date that you have something planned?

Not sure if you can change the date or not, but if you had something planned I'd suggest changing it so you can go to the interview because we all know how long and inefficient government bureaucracy can be.

Ok so I Just checked my status and it says as of March 8 your case will be scheduled for an interview I am so thankful..

Is this normal because the employment authorization status has not changed it still say the same thing that they have received it... Anyone else has this happen.

I just received a text update that a 'Request for Initial Evidence' has been mailed. Any idea how long it takes for RFE to actually reach by mail? Also, do you guys know if I can call USCIS to know what the RFIE is about?

I am traveling for the next 10 days and am worried that this will complicate matters of a timely response from my end.

  • 09/23/2019: Applied and paid online. Received a receipt number immediately.
  • 09/24/2019: USCIS online estimate is April 2020 
  • 09/28/2019: NOA1 received in my mailbox
  • 09/28/2019: Biometrics appointment scheduled [waiting for notice]
  • 10/04/2019: Biometrics appointment notice received in mailbox 
  • 10/17/2019: Biometrics appointment in Revere, MA completed
  • 10/17/2019: USCIS status changed to "we reviewed your biometrics"
  • 10/17/2019: USCIS online estimate is March 2020
  • 01/01/2020: Interview scheduled for Feb. 5, 2020
  • 02/05/2020: Interview expected in Boston
  • 02/04/2020: Received interview de-scheduled [ugh!]
  • 02/11/2020: Interview scheduled for March 10, 2020
  • 03/10/2020: Interview passed. N-400 Approved.
