I finally received my hardcopy for my AOS/AP on Friday February 5th, 2016. They had the notice date of January 27th, 2015. However, I didn't receive a hardcopy notice for my EAD but I did receive a text message with the receipt number.

Any suggestions on if I should contact them about receiving the hardcopy NOA1 for EAD?

Hoping that the biometrics letter comes this week.

I finally received my hardcopy for my AOS/AP on Friday February 5th, 2016. They had the notice date of January 27th, 2015. However, I didn't receive a hardcopy notice for my EAD but I did receive a text message with the receipt number.

Any suggestions on if I should contact them about receiving the hardcopy NOA1 for EAD?

Hoping that the biometrics letter comes this week.

That's great news!

I had the same thing happen to me with my application. I received a hard copy for my AOS & EAD but not for my travel doc, but received electronic notices via email and text for all three.

I waited till 30 days after USCIS recieved my package (I filed all three together) to call them. They said that as long as I have the email/text message with the receipt number for my travel doc then it did not matter if I had the hard copy or not. And they refused to re-send a hard copy.

So i have a PO BOX and our post office is not the best.. and this is not the choice. In the area they do not deliver mail to the physical address.

Anyway, so..

I just called the customer service. She told me that I need to call back if the appointment letter was not received within the 30 days frame then they will look into. She also said that it usually takes about 10 days for the letters to be mailed out. She also said that it looks like as It was not send out.

She told me to check the status online and i said I did and there is just the info that the fingerprint fee was accepted so i asked her if the status changes if they sent out the letter and she said yes.

So for you guys who got the biometrics letters did your case status changed? or the date got updated?

When it comes to customer service I just do not have faith in them.. or maybe I am being impatient..

and that is what I researched on the forum too. This is what I mean when no faith in customer service. they just tell you whatever so you get off the line :/

I got all my texts at once, and got all my physical NOAs at once.

Got bio appt but not text/emails or updates even though I have them tracked on the NOA page. Wasn't expecting the bio letter until the mailman dropped if off with a unrelated package.

I dunno, I guess as K1, this waiting part seems a lot lot easier and more straight forward. i think a laissez faire approach will be a lot more comfortable than during the K1 part. ... I hope :unsure:

But ALL of this paperwork makes me want to pull my fingernails out than even think about attacking my taxes now too....ugh. Can't wait to have a massive bonfire.

I havent received my biometrics letter yet. Hopefully this week, but I think it will be delayed because this winter storm :(

It seems we have a similar timeline and Boston winter storm quirks. Hope we receive the Biometrics letter this week or early next week. Patience is not a virtue I have. :clock:

Ambere - Was your RFE for AOS or for AOS/EAD & AP too?

We completed Biometrics on January 29th.

Just received notifications today for AOS/EAD/AP, that a notice was sent to us was not delivered and sent back to them by USPS.

Not entirely sure what the "Notices" were in relation to exactly, but I'm thinking it may be RFE's too. :(

Had to apply to have them re-sent today. And then had to call and confirm address with USPS. Grr...

That only shows that the Customer Service at USCIS doesn't care. She told me on the phone that the letter was not send out. Why would they do that? she should have at least acknowledge that she is unable to see that information. Uh!
