Hi there!

On Feb 3, I also received an RFE for I-485.

I called USCIS and asked about the details of the RFE (so I could do things in advance), but they don't have such information with them.

I have no choice but to wait beside the mailbox for that letter.

Hoping they will not give us a big headache... :clock:

Yeah it's too bad we can't get this info over the phone :/

We've yet to receive the letter. I was thinking it would be sometime this week or even next week but who knows!!

wow so you got your NOA hard copy and then 3 days after letter with biometrics? that is so quick.

I got my NOAs in the mail on the 29th January and still no letter appointment.. start to worry :(

Check if your AOS Status says fingerprint fee received, that usually means a letter is enroute.

Check if your AOS Status says fingerprint fee received, that usually means a letter is enroute.

When I received the texts with case numbers it said right away that they accepted the fingerprint fee. In fact the date for that is even 01/22.

end also last update date on my status is 01/25 which is the date of NOA.

Received the fingerprint appointment notice on Friday. It is scheduled for February 16th, so far so good.

Same here... Received biometrics letter on Friday, but scheduled appt. is February 19th in LA.

I thought about trying a walk in but it's at least a 3 hour drive and I'd hate to be turned away. Probably would only save a week if that.

Finally found my group. Filed AOS on 1/30, USCIS texted 2/1 that the case was received (sent Express Mail), got three NOAs in today 2/6. Waiting for Biometrics appt now, and we leave for our honeymoon in three days! Looking at timeframes from NOAs to biometrics looks good and won't ruin our honeymoon or anything else. Life is good people, really good.

Ours is in Pittsburgh, I'm ok with the 16th, just have to take off work to go to it. Worst part will probably be finding parking at 11am.
