I was told by IO to sign certificate like on the photo.

My signature is kind of scribble. This is confusing. I searched on the web some people were told to sign full name because DOS Machines can't read and some were told used the signature like on the photo submitted. during the ceremony they gave us sample of the certicate signed the signature name is readable.

I signed the same way I've been told (like on the photo) and had no problems then. My passport has been issued, I was registered to vote and SS record's been updated.

Is your name readable on your signature?

Yes, I use cursive. But I skip few letters in my last name, for example Sarah John instead of Johnson.

you pose some very interesting questions. I have the same issue, my everyday signature is like a jumbled mess, and there are places, a few times at least, on the forms, and elsewhere, I have out on a full cursive style signature.

I will be having my oath soon, and your questions, pose more confusion in my head now. Mirror my photo signature or put on the full cursive signature. You dont want delays at the point of entry when the DOS machine cant decipher the signature.

My Oath Notice was mailed.....yay....finally after RFE.

June 2 2013 priority date
december 2013 Rfe
february 2014 sent Rfe
March 2014 approved at USCIS
june 2014 NVC received
march 2 2015 sent aos and iv package
march 8 i emailed nvc request to expedite my case
march 13 approved expedite request
march 17 in transit status in CEAC
march 19 case file at US embassy
march 23 first day of medical at Slec
march 29 personal evaluation...passed!
April 6 immunization
april 13 interview at USEM. under Administrative Processing Reason; Medical result was still not forwarded by SLEC.
After my interview i called SLEC they told me they forwarded it at USEM same day of my interview.
July 29 I emailed SLEC to confirm again when did they forwarded my Medical Result at USEM. They replied...forwarded April 13.
July 30 status update date change FINALLY.
September 2015 went in US embassy to withdraw my passport coz I've waited for how many months and no approval yet. Only to find out my case file has been sitting in the corner ...no one reviewed my medical result. to make the story short, I took medical again for the second time , then after a my medical result released, I have my visa on my hands.

October 28 2015 POE Sam Francisco
November 7, 2015 SSN
December 2015... 10 year green card arrived
December 2015 Driver's license issued..yay! <p>

06/07/2018 (Thursday) NOA-2 was APPROVED. 172 days.

06/11/2018 (Monday) NOA-2 was delivered by USPS to my home address.

06/22/2018 (Friday) Our case was sent to the U.S. Department of State (DOS) for visa processing (NVC)

Hello guys!

I called customer service about my issue and this is what I got. On May 23rd I got an update that my interview was scheduled and I should get a notice by mail. According to the automated message before I spoke to the customer service I should call them if I have not received the notice in 30 days, but when I spoke to the customer service rep, he said they will mail it in 30 days. I tried calling them again and got a different rep who told me they will update the online status once they SENT the notice.

Did any of you guys received a notice that the interview letter was sent?

I'm sorry, 3600rs, but you can update your info with red font after oath ceremony. Red font means that you are a US citizen!

I'm sorry, diepry, I've missed your post with update. I've read it on email without dates.

Well, I've updated your info but there are no columns in chart for dates of scheduled interview. Next update when you receive interview notice in the mail.

I got email that my interview had been scheduled and notice will be mailed. I did not receive any update after that until I receive notice in the mail week later. I hope you get that mail very soon and it will not be missed!
