I have just passed the interview and the oath ceremony was also scheduled for today. I am officially a US Citizen :dancing::dancing:

Aaaaaaah...... :idea::idea: Now this makes sense. As long as they can see the date you will be leaving, they will give you an oath before then. You should be ok, I do not think they will take 60 days All the best.

march 17 in transit status in CEAC
march 19 case file at US embassy
march 23 first day of medical at Slec
march 29 personal evaluation...passed!
April 6 immunization
april 13 interview at USEM. under Administrative Processing Reason; Medical result was still not forwarded by SLEC.
After my interview i called SLEC they told me they forwarded it at USEM same day of my interview.
July 29 I emailed SLEC to confirm again when did they forwarded my Medical Result at USEM. They replied...forwarded April 13.
July 30 status update date change FINALLY.
September 2015 went in US embassy to withdraw my passport coz I've waited for how many months and no approval yet. Only to find out my case file has been sitting in the corner ...no one reviewed my medical result. to make the story short, I took medical again for the second time , then after a my medical result released, I have my visa on my hands.

October 28 2015 POE Sam Francisco
November 7, 2015 SSN
December 2015... 10 year green card arrived
December 2015 Driver's license issued..yay! <p>

Hi all,

So today I had my interview.

I walked in he asked me my name and birthday and said you have been approved.

NO test, NO reading , NO writing. And yes I did study.

After 7min he asked if I want to do the oath in 20min I said yes and thats it. Im a american now :)

Just an update:

I got my fingerprint on 04/27. Apparently my first fingerprint notice was lost in the mail somehow. I tried calling them several times but to no avail. When I got my second fingerprint appointment, the letter mentioned that I did not show up on the first one and they automatically rescheduled me. I got the letter less than a week before the biometric appointments. This really scared me.

Also got a notice that I am inline for the interview on 5/23. How long before you guys received the letter in the mail?

You'll get a letter when you are actually scheduled for an interview... that hasn't happened yet. At this point you're inline for an interview to be eventually scheduled. When you get the update about the interview being scheduled, you should get a letter within about a week.

It's been since may 19th that i have been stuck in the "placed in line for oath ceremony status"

Anyone from the richmond virginia/norfolk area gotten oath ceremony for june?

Hang in there Sammyboy! Keep the faith, its due soon. I was going thru your post when I hear my loud text message ping.

My interview was on May 11th, I got my inline status on the May 17th, and today the pleasant message :

Oath Ceremony Notice was Mailed.

My prayers, good hope, positive vibes to all those waiting. :)

"On May 23, 2016, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number NBC*. We will mail you an interview notice. "

That is what is written on the letter. It's been two weeks and I am worried their letter is lost on the mail again.

Hey there, I'm a March filer but can't see any other San Diegans other than in Jan thread.

I'm a bit concerned they only have scheduled you for interview when you have filed in Jan!

USCIS processing times as of March 31st shows Oct 8th 2015 but that's probably not reliable.

Is San Diego having such a huge backload ? I'm in line since May 18th with March end priority..

Ok... so your interview was scheduled on 5/23. Your first post said that you were placed inline for interview scheduling on 5/23. The interview is almost always scheduled for 5 weeks after the update. So since you got your update on Monday, 5/23, you should expect that your interview will be on Monday 6/27 (plus or minus a couple of days). So I wouldn't panic just yet. Edited by JimmyHou
