Quick update: i had my interview and ceremony yesterday:

The interview took around 5 mns and was a formality: oath, 6 questions, going over No-No questions, then asking if i wanted to be in same-day ceremony.

Ceremony had a lot of people. You hand-in your green card and receive the certificate of naturalization at the end (just in case anyone wondering: afterwards to apply for a passport, you need to appear in person at a passport facility and fill-in an application in which the original certificate is attached so make sure to make plenty of copies, this should be the only time you separate from your certificate).

How did you know?

actually its May 13 not 17. click the immigration timeline on top then citicenship,then chose las vegas nevada. it will appear all people who have an application from las vegas who joined visajourney. someone there is scheduled for May 13.

december 2013 Rfe
february 2014 sent Rfe
March 2014 approved at USCIS
june 2014 NVC received
march 2 2015 sent aos and iv package
march 8 i emailed nvc request to expedite my case
march 13 approved expedite request
march 17 in transit status in CEAC
march 19 case file at US embassy
march 23 first day of medical at Slec
march 29 personal evaluation...passed!
April 6 immunization
april 13 interview at USEM. under Administrative Processing Reason; Medical result was still not forwarded by SLEC.
After my interview i called SLEC they told me they forwarded it at USEM same day of my interview.
July 29 I emailed SLEC to confirm again when did they forwarded my Medical Result at USEM. They replied...forwarded April 13.
July 30 status update date change FINALLY.
September 2015 went in US embassy to withdraw my passport coz I've waited for how many months and no approval yet. Only to find out my case file has been sitting in the corner ...no one reviewed my medical result. to make the story short, I took medical again for the second time , then after a my medical result released, I have my visa on my hands.

October 28 2015 POE Sam Francisco
November 7, 2015 SSN
December 2015... 10 year green card arrived
December 2015 Driver's license issued..yay! <p>

N-400 Interview next week.

Regarding the 10 questions that they ask.

Has anyone had the experience of less questions? Also Is it multiple chose?

Do you have to answer exactly as its in the book?

Lastly do they take the green card on the spot - I have a trip the day after my interview for 2 weeks.

The IO will have a list of 10 random questions which are exactly as its in the book. You have to answer correctly 6 of those 10 questions. If you answered correctly 6 first questions, you will not be asked 7th one.

Depending on the office you may be offered to take the oath the same day. But if you need to leave the USA, tell the IO that you rather be scheduled for oath ceremony another day. Because your green card and other documents issued by DHS will be taken away at the oath ceremony. You will get the certificate of naturalization instead. Some offices provide passport application and voter registration service right after oath ceremony, but your passport will not be ready by next day so better choose another day ceremony.

The book provides few acceptable answers you can choose one of it. For example,

Why do some states have more Representatives than other states?

· (because of) the state’s population

· (because) they have more people

· (because) some states have more people

They have the same meaning. I guess if you answer not exactly as in the book but with the same meaning, that answer should be accepted.
