Hi. Just got my i129 packet sent back because i sent in the wrong fee. 341 instead on 340. Yes, stupid of me. The teller issued me the wrong amount and i didn't catch it until i was sending it in and thought 1 dollar over wouldn't matter. Wrong!

K, my question. Do i send the same packet back or do i have to fill out a new one. On the rejection letter it says to send in the correct fee.

They also took my cover letter. Do i need to make a new one? And the green letter they sent me said to put it in front when i return the packet. Do they mean just the green letter or the green letter and the i767c which is the white letter that told me what wad wrong. Thank u guys. Im asking because all the paper has a number code printed on it like a lable. Maybe thats the processing code

Welcome to the forum.

Just follow their instructions explicitly, making photocopies for your records of all correspondence.

FYI: Form I-129 = Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker

Form I-129F = Petition for Alien Fiancee (K1)

Form I-767c = ??

Form I-797c = Notice of Action

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Sorry. It was i797c not i767c

It says please resubmit the application with the appropriate fees to the address listed below. So that means i can send in the same packet?

Ooops thanks. Didnt see your answer earlier lol

Put where he lives. They will assign consulate base on his location. You are all good.

The DOS will automatically assign the correct consulate when it gets to that point. No worries. Lots of people put down consulates that don't actually process K1 visas in Canada.
