There's many F2A's on the Interview spreadsheet. Each embassy has specific # of slots of each Visa category so no way to compare from one embassy to the next.

You mentioned visa category slots, and that is a very important fact.

I also understand the slots are assigned at the beginning of each month.

My question is: Do IR1/CR1 cases have priority over all other Immigrant cases within a month?

Note:I have been working on a spreadsheet for the BOGOTA US EMBASSY, they get between 30 to 40 cases per day.

I use the CEAC VISA SATUS CHECK portal. https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

I can see the different status: AT NVC (in process), READY (CC complete waiting for a slot), ISSUED, REFUSED, AP (by embassy) and whether is an immigrant or none immigrant case. But I have not been able to unmask which cases are IR1/CR1. I can see the date where BOGOTA is processing the main core of cases, which right now is around OCTOBER 30th, I can also see a handful of what I believe must be expedited cases with Julian dates that belong to mid December with a READY STATUS.

Any comments from you will be greatly appreciated, I just want to throw some light into this NVC trip.

That I couldn't tell you. Seems many embassies give F2A the same status as a IR1/CR1 as far as other Visa categories (E Visas's) I really don;t know.

No way to know that's their secret.

HI, our case is currently at NVC since Nov 12, 2015 and we had to send RFE on Dec 21, 2015. Do we have to wait an initial 30 days from the new paperwork we sent? Or does it continue from where they left off? What are the chances that they will request more paperwork? Or was that the only time? Also, does anyone know how far out they are scheduling interviews? I first heard 3 weeks and then I heard it could be 6-8 weeks? Thanks!

Usually at least 30 days. They have been scheduling February interviews for the last week. Mexico is usually a 2 month wait after CC to get a date.

Here's the spreadsheet to get a better idea.
