My fiancé and I filed for a K-1 visa. I live in Israel, and should have an interview at the Jerusalem consulate.

In December, NVC gave us a case number (that's starts with JRS, for Jerusalem), and on December 28th the online status of our application changed to "In Transit".

Yesterday my fiancé received a letter, dated December 29th, that says:

"The NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in UNKNOWN"

Later on that same page, we see the correct case number and information, but then again it says:

Interview Location: UNKNOWN, U.S. EMBASSY - MANILA, PHILIPPINES

Did it ever happen to someone? Is it really getting routed to Manila instead of Jerusalem? We obviously can't contact the NVC until Monday due to the national holiday.

Thanks.

For future reference for members of this community, as this is not the first time it happens (see above) -

NVC told us they were unaware of such letter, and that our case was sent to Jerusalem. Their phone support is great and the representatives are always nice. Our case status was just changed to "Ready" so everything is alright.
