I enjoy reading all the posts of getting 3 N/As and CCs and interview dates....it keeps me excited enough for when it's me and my kids' turn, although we are far away since our scan date was Jan 19th....Lord knows they are just as anxious as I am to finally be with their step-dad :)(L):clock::clock::clock:

Hello all,

I contacted the NVC for an address change and the email I got back had some information on the bottom.

The one I'm curious about is the Priority Date. I'm sponsoring my wife and the visa type is IR-1. The Priority Date was June 2015.

Does that have any meaning for my case? IR-1 spouse visa? I'm wondering if its a date I should be concerned with?

Thanks

IR1 visa petitions are always current...meaning there's no "waiting" time and the filing-to-visa-in-hand process can begin. The priority date is the date you submitted your i130 to USCIS. There's nothing to worry abt with this date. Trust me...there's BIGGER ? to fry when you get deeper in the process ?
