Hmmm

Let's see what happen in five days

Fingers cross

Yes lets :)

I just called them up, they are not working on my case right now or they are not telling if they are.

I had Operator Gabe and he told me that they can´t tell me if there is a checklist or whatever.

So they must still be working Dec 18-19 today.

Can hope they will pickup Dec 21.

Another 21ster here. I called earlier today. The rep (Liz) was professional, but very non-committal. She said it could be CC any day now. If it’s not done by next Wed, it’ll go a supervisor review. I asked if SR means expedited processing, she answered “No, it just means a supervisor will be looking at it”.

Please fill out your timeline.

I am assuming 21ster means scan date 12/21

Question

Filling taxes this year I will b doing MFS and where they ask ss I will put NRA

and thoughts on this one ppl

I have the same situation, but Turbo Tax does not allow me to type NRA in my spouse's NSN field.

I am going to call TT, but more than likely I am going to have to file manually and send it via snail mail.

Well have to write NRA or get iitn which is a pain

So I will recommend find someone else to do ur taxes coz this could b a problem during interview.married have to file married and easiest way is MFS and NRA.once ur spouse is here just do the amendment and get the money back ?

That is my plan, the ITN is real pain here in the states, you have to mail the beneficiary's passport to Texas with the W-7 and the W-7 has to be signed in front of an IRS agent. Its easier to do it overseas at some locations. Its not viable for us.
