Case Complete: Jan 22nd, 2016 @10.00 PM CST exact as i was just checking every 5 min....

March 6 2016 will be my 2nd year anniversary and I got my CR1 visa last week. I heard if I enter US after my 2nd anniversary... I will get a 10 years visa but I am planning to fly to US by next week. Is it better to wait for 1 more month... and get 10 year visa or it will be easy to fly next week and renew my 2 year visa after 2 years.....Pls comment. .

And from the date it seems like we cant tell what day they are working on again.

The 15th is 1-2 days longer ahead then we think.

But this can make my scandate Thursday next week, if it keeps up.

Same scan date also dec 14th. Was watching you vasu. I share in your joy.

Your timeline says you mailed it out on the 14th, so how can the scan date be the 14th ?

Is it possible to request to unlock the DS 260? For the question "Have you lived anywhere other than my current address since age of 16.." I wanted to indicate 2009 since I was in the US, and just realized today it says 2004. I would like to change that, or is it too late?

I know by experience that it wasnt a good idea to click on the DS 261 because it went back to incomplete. But I am also not sure about the Ds 260.

You have to call them for instructions and any changes will be done via snail mail from your part.

STAGE 3: US Embassy Bogota

02-11-2016 US Embassy Bogota received my package at 10:39.

02-12-2016 CEAC Visa Status changed from "IN TRANSIT" to "READY"

02-24-2016 Lab exams at the clinic and Bio-metrics at the CAS center.

02-25-2016 Medical Exams.

03-01-2016 Interview Date (175 days after I mailed I-130) VISA APPROVED. CEAC status changed to AP

03-02-2016 Paid Immigrant Visa Fee via ELIS account. CEAC status changed to ISSUED

03-03-2016 US Embassy Bogota sends Passport and Visa package via DHL Waybill 2900131780 to Cali.

03-04-2016 My wife picked up at DHL sealed approved IV package and her passport with a stamped I-551 IV Category CR1.

I believe the interview scheduling will start next week....Let's see and let's see a few more case complete next week...I know it will be a busy week i think there are lot of people in Dec 15 to Dec 23rd scan date waiting for CC.... All the best to everybody...

Then i will be so happy if, they will set off 30 sek to think about all the ppl in here and other places that just want one thing in life.

You're absolutely correct..each case is different...I've seen some cases processed and scheduled much quicker than others. I am hoping that there is some 1st qrtr quota they have to meet and have a high volume turnover (at JA Embassay)???. One can dream, right?

Trust me been doing this a long time if you see a fast assignment for Jamaica its a expedite. The wait averages 90 to 120 days It started like that about fall of 2014 and they never have got better.

Jamaica seems to be very accommodating with expedites of interviews so when you get to that point give it a try.

Yesterday, there was a CC for Australia, scan date Dec 14 (check NVC JUNE I-130 approvals)

[spoiler]Green card I-130:Wedding date January 16th,2015 I-130 sent: May 5th,2015 NOA1: May 7th, 2015 NOA2: October 23rd,2015 Sent to NVC Nov 3rd, 2015 Received at NVC on the November 9th,2015 NVC sent letter with Case number on December 2nd,2015 DS-261 on December 07th, 2015 Paid AOS fee on December 07th,2015 Paid IV fee on December 12th, 2015 Sent AOS and IV package on December 17th, 2015 Form Ds 260 submitted on December 21, 2015. (Delay due to Ds261 showing incomplete had to resubmit) Scan date: December 21st, 2015 Case complete: January 29th, 2016 Medical examination: March 4th, 2016 Interview: March 17th, 2016 at US Embassy in Paris - Approved ! March 18th, 2016 - CEAC shows visa ISSUED March 24th, 2016 - Visa received this morning Paid ELIS $165 fee + book flight on MArch 24th, 2016 POE Chicago on April 13th, 2016  Received green card on June 8th, 2016[/spoiler][/spoiler]
