If i go in there i see:

Step 1: Select whether you are applying for a Nonimmigrant Visa or an Immigrant Visa.

But only Nonimmigrant can be selected.

----------------------------------------------------

And i can only go for Copenhagen, but it will be in Sweden, Stockholm where i have to go. But i will go call they tomorrow about it.

Hey Soeren, this may help: The procedure at the embassy level changes a lot from country to country, in my case I have to register with:

https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-co/iv/schedule/11019078/applicants/new

But I can not do it until NVC sends me the IL.

This link allows for both immigrants and non-immigrants for US Embassy in Stockholm.:

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/se/se-iv-denmarkandnorway.asp#FAQ

DANISH AND NORWEIGIAN DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER ONLINE:

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND No assurance can be given in advance that a visa will be issued. A Consular Officer can make a decision only after your formal application and all accompanying documents are reviewed, and you have been personally interviewed by the officer. If the officer finds you eligible for an immigrant visa, our office will make every effort to mail out the visa within two weeks. Since the visa will be sent to you by registered mail, you must register your address online at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/se (Sweden). Danish and Norwegian applicants do not need to register online. Neither the consulate nor the U.S. Government can accept any liability for passports or visas lost in the mail. Should the visa not be approved due to a lack of required documents, you have one year to provide the requested paperwork. Failure to submit the requested documents will result in the termination of your case. Within one year, you should mail the required documents (along with a copy of the "Refusal Letter" handed to you at the time of your interview) to the Immigrant Visa Unit. Once we have reviewed the newly-submitted documents and your case, we will contact you with further information. You are advised not to make any travel arrangements for departure from your country, not to sell your property, and not to abandon your employment until you have received your visa. An immigrant visa is usually valid for a maximum of six months from the date of issuance. You must travel and apply for admission to the United States within that 6- month period. Should police certificates and medical reports expire prior to the abovementioned 6-month period, the visa validity will be limited accordingly

My scan date is Dec 14 and when I called just now I asked her is there any updates because I'm almost at my 40 day mark, and I heard her count on the phone from when I sent them and she said if I don't hear anything by the 29th to call them... Ughhhh I'm hoping it's sooner than the 29 because these 10 days seem so far away :( I just want my husband here already!! Hopefully my self and you guys get cc this week. Good luck.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. Our scan date is 17/12 and the days go by so slowly. BTW, this is the wife responding, too lazy to open my own account on here so I just use my husband's account :). My birthday is next month and I was really hoping to be able to spend it with my husband but at this rate, I doubt that will happen. This wait is so tiring and draining and I just need my husband.

Hopefully we get a miracle and get case complete this week next month interview.. This is so hard I started a new job at the bank in November I don't know if I can leave and go visit, if I wasn't working and I'd go back and wait till he comes here.. I spent 6 months in 2015 back home with my husband now it's been almost 4 months I haven't seen him.. Let's all pray for some good luck this week.. ❤️ This is too stressful and draining I agree with you 100 percent.

You're so lucky you got to spend 6 months with your husband, for me, it's always just a few weeks then back to responsibilities for both of us. He called the NVC tonight and they told him 40 days, we are now at day 33 and these 7 days will seem like FOREVER. Our first anniversary is in March and we really want to be together for that I just hope this is all finished because I feel like I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I try to focus on work but even that isn't working anymore. I just want it to be done with and to just get on with all the plans we have.

Look at the upside...you waited 5 months or so for USCIS process to be done....10 days seems trivial compared to that but (just like me lol) I guess waiting even as much as a DAY seems like a lifetime!!

I also try to make trips to visit my husband and vice versa and just like you, I only get to stay 2-3 weeks because of my job and family commitments....the kicker is the way we're asked by the CBP Officers each time "How do you handle a long distance relationship??" A Simple answer really.....I know the day will be soon for when we're together for eternity (L)

I understand that calling NVC and not really getting positive feedback ultimately results in a stress level that only God can understand  but think positive and you will see that those 10 days will be done before you know it ;)

Thank you for your kind words.. I hope this process goes quickly for all of us.
